Any way to get rid of the lyrics for the japanese songs?
There are a few scenes where lyrics will cover the screen whenever someone's character theme plays.. Like Vegeta or Trunks. Is there anyway to not see the lyrics?

You mean the subtitles for the songs? Can't you just turn them off with the subtitle button on your remote?

Isn't there two tracks of subtitles?Pokewhiz7 wrote:But then he couldn't read the dialog.jpdbzrulz4sure wrote:You mean the subtitles for the songs? Can't you just turn them off with the subtitle button on your remote?
1. Subtitles for Japanese audio translation
2. Subtitles for Japanese signs while listening to the English dub
I remember seeing 2 subtitle tracks in my DBZ Kai Part 7 Blu-ray.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

As far as I'm aware, it's:
1. Japanese dialog, signs, songs
2. signs, songs
(This is assuming there is any actual dialog during the song, which I'm almost 99% certain there is when Saiyan Blood plays.)

Hey Jackal puFF, exactly which version are you watching, the dub or the Japanese version? If it's the former, you should be able to just turn the song/sign subs off. If the latter, though, you can't turn them off without removing the dialogue subs as well.

I'm watching the dub. Even without turning the subtitles on or off, they're there.

That's not right. You should be able to totally turn them off. They are on by default, but does turning them off from the menu work?
So mondo lame.

Did you try turning them off with the subtitle button on your remote?

The subtitles default to ON for the English dub. As has been said already, you CAN turn them off; If not by the remote, you can use the subtitle menu.

But if you turn them off from the subtitle menu, the track for songs and signs are still on. It turns the full English track off, but leaves the songs/signs track on. So you can't turn that track off from the subtitle menu, only from the remote.
So mondo lame.

Okay, I couldn't remember if there was an option for that.GotenDaisuki wrote:But if you turn them off from the subtitle menu, the track for songs and signs are still on.
