Re: Dragon Ball 3DS Discussion
The E3 will be in two months from now, anyone else think we will get some info in June?

I assume you mean E3, and no I don't expect anything from there. Dragon Ball games are rarely unveiled at E3. In fact, you'd have to go back to when Atari held the license for things like that.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I'm thinking this will be a Dragon Ball original series game as Nintendo usually receives, but seriously, why is Nintendo having this sort of exclusivity?
I'd prefer a DB game than DBZ game on 360/PS3.

Re: Dragon Ball 3DS Discussion
It's probably due to the reputations that the various systems/companies have. Nintendo is obviously viewed as very kid-friendly (or even kid-centric), so a light-hearted Dragon Ball game would theoretically sell very well on that system. Microsoft and Sony are known to create systems for hardcore gamers with little regard to kid-friendly fare, so it's sensible to think that a Dragon Ball game might not do as well on a console that is known for first-person shooters and R-rated titles.dbboxkaifan wrote:I'm thinking this will be a Dragon Ball original series game as Nintendo usually receives, but seriously, why is Nintendo having this sort of exclusivity?

Is it accurate? Well...kinda. Is it fair? Certainly not. Regardless, it is the reality of the situation. Sony and Microsoft will keep trying to convince people that their systems are kid-friendly and Nintendo will keep trying to convince people that they're hardcore-friendly. Until they can break those conceptions, you probably won't ever see a pre-Z Dragon Ball game on Xbox or PlayStation.

AW! I thought it was going to the sequel to Attack of The Saiyans! That cover just shot my hopes.. Unless it goes all the way to the Cell arc, kinda unlikely. Considering how much stuff there is on Namek.

I just hope it's a fighting game. I miss the Supersonic Warriors games and I won't mind seeing another one. The second game was a good sequel but I wish the combat was more in depth and that you can erase your save data for once.

Any chance Dimps might be attached to this project? I'd love to see another decent Dragonball game in my lifetime.
