It seems that 3XL, the Catalan TV channel, has broadcast episode 98. This is the world's first broadcast of episode 98, isn't this? I never thought that a local TV channel in Spain would become the first to do it.

Hm, Dragon Ball Z Kai is going to broadcast in Portugal, not dubbed in Portuguese but in its original audio, Japanese, and with Portuguese subtitles.

TV Announcement of Dragon Ball Z Kai on the Portuguese channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hSl5fWHDyq8

Beats me why they call it Dragon Ball Kai when the rest of the world uses Dragon Ball Z Kai. I honestly don't think they went and licenced directly from Toei or something.

Brazilian CN started airing the Android arc recently, and there's already yet another error in the dub. They forgot to get rid of the English audio in the scene when Trunks chops up Freeza.

The French broadcast of their uncut dub is at the episode where Gohan transforms into SSJ2 today!

Kind of late news but... Brazil's Dragon Ball Z Kai is back and they're doing now the Artificial Humans arc, currently at episode #56. Then eventually's Cell's arc. :)

Hopefully all those audio mistakes won't happen from now on. ^_^

There's still audio issues on the BR Kai dub, but I'll let it pass, the dub's pretty good, nonetheless. In fact, it's my favourite because it uses all of the original names, Kuririn is Kuririn. :D

I guess Colleen's Gohan SSJ2 might interfere with the BR Kai Gohan SSJ2.

To be fair, Krillin is a perfectly valid way to render "Kuririn."
I couldn't imagine watching it with audio errors like that. At that point I'd just switch it to Japanese.

Yeah, but I prefer Kuririn to Krillin and I won't mind the audio issues unless they get really atrocious, in that case, I'll definitely stop watching Kai in BR.

Edit: List of the cast here - http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclo ... p?id=10877

Thanks!

I was wondering...does anybody know where I can find a clip of Goku's "I Am" speech in the French dub?
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

Which episode and time? If I find out how to make a clip, I'll make you one.

Thanks, sangofoe! It's episode 48...unfortunately, I don't know what time. I think it starts around the 15-16 minute mark.

Here you go: JE SUI LE SUPER SAIYAN, SON GOKU!! - Episode 48

I know it's 'Saïyen' written, but pronounced is as 'Saiyan'. Everyone beats FUNimation's incorrect pronunciation (Seiyen) of the word Saiyan. :P

Now the Brazilian Portuguese dub's got the worst error ever. About half of episode 60 aired with FUNi's English dub audio with the Yamamoto score. Moreover, The Ebb And The Flow, which was replaced even on Nicktoon's initial broadcast, played in the scene when the Z warriors and the androids are flying to find a place for their fight.

Nicktoons once made their edited version of episode 60 with The Ebb And The Flow and it was available on their online streaming, but before it aired on TV, Toei acknowledged Yamamoto's plagiarisms, so they immediately replaced the piece with An Outcome-Switching Recovery and the original version never aired on TV. Brazil seems to have imported and still has the original version.

Wow, they totally screwed up, but on the other hand, it's the English Dragon Ball Z Kai on Cartoon Network. :P

I wonder if monkeys are in control of the Brazilian Kai dub. No offence.

Yamamoto, Yamamoto, Yamamoto...I know none of your stuff was original, but man I miss your plagiarized music so much. It fit the scenes so much better.

I take back what I said about the Brazilian Kai dub, the BR Kai episodes #60 and #61 I have contain the BR voices, though for a couple of Goku scenes it's Schemmel doing the screams and sighings.

Kei17's BR episode copies must've been early airings, maybe.

Thinking I was going to hear Yamamoto's music in BR Kai dub surely disappointed me because it was fixed. :P

I promise I won't bash BR Kai dub again for the audio mistakes until I've gotten the episodes from the 'usual place' to check them personally. Despite the audio mistakes, I'm loving the Brazilian Kai dub. :)

Btw, to anyone wondering, in the BR Kai dub they pronounce Dr. Gero as the 'g' in 'good', so like in Japanese.

Watched Dragon Ball Kai #62 Brazilian Dub and did not notice any audio errors, great episode and dub!

They call Trunks with an English accent but, eh, I like it. :)

Edit: Same for Dragon Ball Kai #63 Brazilian Dub seems like they're finally doing everything properly. ^_^
