My Kinect experience would probably be like ''and a one and a two and a hell with that''
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!

I just told my little cousins about this game and they lost their shit. They love the Kinect (for reasons I can't understand why) and they love DBZ even more thanks to Kai. Now all they keep talking about is doing Kamehamehas at the tv screen and getting the chance to beat up Nappa and Freeza.

There's a lot of potential in Kinect, no need for controller or anything, just the body, using the body to control everything or the vocal command does it all.

Kinect with Xbox 360 just by saying "Xbox Home", "Xbox Game" "Xbox Open Tray", "Xbox Bing", "Xbox Videos", etc will take you automatically to wherever you want.

They should be able to add "Xbox ON" (to turn on the console by voice control).

Anywho, lets see how Dragon Ball Z For Kinect manages. :)

...and my day just came full circle. I was just talking about how extremely creepy it would be if the Kinect was always on, listening to your every word and waiting for "Xbox on." No thanks, I'm fine with just reaching down and pressing one button on my controller; or hell getting up and turning it on. I don't need the Xbox listening to my every word in order for me to enter a new level of lazy; nevermind the invasion of privacy.

Also, I won't be buying this but maybe VegettoEX is right. Maybe they do need this. Hell, I could be dead wrong and this could be the next best thing since sliced bread(I doubt it) so who knows.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

With that red light, it gives the impression of HAL a little

Expect Kendamu and I, along with some others to do the greatest Let's Play of this game, ever.

I'm even buying a Kinect for it before it comes out.

I sure hope so because Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team only had the English Kai dub for some reason, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect being a western game must still feature the original Japanese voices as an option.

Anywho, the screenshots of the game look fantastic and easy to get into:

Why would they change the graphics or music? The graphics are excellent, the music could've been the original remastered Dragon Ball Z soundtrack but it's always an exclusive for the Japanese version, and besides, the replacement is pretty good (imo).

Good Lordy Namdai seems to be looking for other alternatives than Budoukai Tenkaichis or Raging Blasts again.

This game is not a western game. It is developed by Spike Chunsoft. They are in Japan. The game is aimed at a western audience, but one could argue every Dragon Ball game from the last decade was.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Still liking those UT graphics though. If only Spike's games this gen have been as good gameplay wise as they have been graphically.

I dunno if it was podcast or some topic, but the conclusion was, that really, the popularity of DBZ in US started this DB video game era with Budokai, which came earlier in USA and ending at the Cell arc, because at the time in the US Buu arc wasn't finished (or even broadcasted?) and they included Great Saiyaman as special character.

Only few of these new games were Jap. like I can assume that for sure, Tenkaichi Daiboken on Wii was Japanese game and imported or Attack of the Saiyans on DS.... but this is only speculation.

This is an except taken from one of Nostal's journals on DeviantArt. It's something we already knew, but figured that it's nice to point out that the developers/publishers/etc. acknowledge it as well.
Nostal/Treevax wrote:I just met the label director once again, in april 2012, during a Naruto UNS Generation event, here in France. We talked about the disappointement of the hardcore players and fans, when DBZ for Kinect has been announced.

(Nota Bene: The community manager already told us on april 12th that the hardcore fans and players are not the target of DBZ for Kinect.)
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.

Then it means that we will get some RB/TB styled game, or even Street Fighter like one???????
Or it means: Yeah we said hardcore fans, but this game in the end is not for those hardcore. Period. ??

If I will get some original succesor to the past button mashing games then to hell with this Kinect game 8)

The so-called 'hardcore' or 'die-hard' fans will be getting either Raging Blast 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 4 or Ultimate Tenkaichi 2 (this is a really nonsense title since it's Ultimate already).

I'm still hoping for Zenkai Battle Royale with 6 Vs. 6 online mode and a Dragon Ball Advanced Adventure release on Xbox Arcade but what kind of hardcore or die-hard cares about the original Dragon Ball, right?

Hopefully they're waiting a year for this "real" game to come out.

Coool, I so much hope for Ultimate in the UT name really means that this game was first and last in it's series.
I'd be rather having Raging Blast 3 with more modes and roster than this

I gave up playing RB2 long time ago since the online mode was terribly boring and rarely anyone would appear.

Though, if Raging Blast 3 has a Tag Mode like in Tenkaichi Tag Team for PSP I think I'd play it more often, and for online purposes, it really should definitely have 6 Vs. 6 instead of only 2 Vs. 2.

Lol, you really, really like to repeat yourself don't you. You like tag team and 2 V 2 etc, we get it.

Anyway, if the game which follows UT Kinect sucks, and is just another Tenkaichi, or Raging Blast, then I'm out; for good. This year in fact was supposed to be my final, however I have a feeling that this Kinect game's only purpose is to fulfil the contract requirements, thus they'll be developing a different game in the mean time for two years. That's my hope anyway. If it's false however, I'm done with this franchise.

^ Oops, sorry, I really should stop repeating myself over and over again.

Anywho, for anyone that wants to buy Ultimate Tenkaichi's Son Gohan Great Saiyaman only, now you can for £39.90 at Amazon.

Not a good deal (eh, it's debatable), if I were to get this, I'd just buy the whole package instead, but it's too pricey still.
