Dragon Ball AF- The Return of Shenron

Post by Djrunza » Wed May 02, 2012 11:06 am

Obviously it was fan-made by myself when i was in a boredom in a while ago and i literally decided myself to change his original picture into a brand new ultimate true form of "Demon Shadow Dragon King Shenron". the design editing was inspired by the Demon King, Nobunaga Oda from Sengoku Basara ;)

Plus, i am a big fan of this bad ass villain character, Shenron, and i would love to see Shenron return once again with a more demonic texture, structure, color, etc. and even way more powerful than he use to be before. Apparently, these two images shows about the Final Saga and the Final Battle once again with the return of the Shadow Dragon King, Shenron for Dragon Ball AF!

P/S: Would be really appreciate it if you guys could drop some comments at the comment box section. Thanks! :)

"Shenron" should be swear-filtered.

That swear filter should be used to automatically fix "Shenron" to "Shenlong", just like "Turles" to "Tullece" (WHAT?! It ain't swear-filtered no more!!). I'm talking about the forum feature which admins have access to.

"Shenron" isn't an "English" version of anything, is what folks are saying -- it's the Japanese approximation of the Chinese that spells the character/thing's name.

The best example I've seen is that spelling the character's name as "Shenron" is akin to spelling the character's name as "Torankusu" or "Seru". It's a pronunciation approximation that hasn't taken into account the language it's being adapted into.

(Not to mention the DBGT evil dragons not being "Dragon Gods" but "Star Dragons" or shinron / xing long...)

Well, the pictures look pretty good and menacing, even though I'm not sure what it all means. But awesome drawing.

...Yeaaah, you are absolutely right VegettoEX, I couldn't agree more with you. To me, Omega Shenron is the most bad-ass villain of all time in Dragon Ball Universe. What do you think about the images above? :D

Looks cool, but I hate those dub-names... :|

The one thing I notice on Shenlong (Going to stick to Japanese here since "Omega Shenron" has been a trigger phrase in the past) is that those wings don't really make sense; the way you have them placed they won't be parallel, the left one will be closer to his head than the right one.

How would you go about reviving that one-star dragon?

Just for clarification, there is no swear filter. People can say "fuck" or "shit" all they want, as long as they still make intelligent posts and don't insult people.

There was a filter for things like "Turles" and "Tien," but I don't know if it's even active anymore. I've seen lots of people use "Tien" without edits lately.

The art is not bad but I would stick with a original idea then another Super Yi Xing Long type of character.

Lol Ah I see. Thank you for the feedback BlazingFiddlesticks, I really do appreciate. The reason why I made those deadly wings on Shenron's back, is simply because I would like to make a different character of Shenron and modify his appearance in order to look even more powerful than he use to be. I create this just for fun after all. I hope one of the Dragon Ball AF crews could actually see this thread or whatever. And I hope he love my images above.

Well to answer your question, it takes time for me to think about that. But I shall promise to you, that I will tell you how he actually revived and by WHO he revived. Cheers! :D

"Shenron" is Shen Long & "Shadow Dragons" are Evil Dragons in the original Japanese version. And Yi Xing Long (Omega Shenron in the dub) isn't a Shenron/Shen Long, but a Xing Long.

I remember the Dragon that summon the shadow dragons had wings? I can see where he got his inspiration from.
