Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I finished the Novel adaptation, and I can say it gave a lot of nice info not included in the comic, like fillers. It was better than I expected. For example, it confirms that Oob can use Kaio-ken, Vegeta doesn't have SSJ3 (he didn't want to because of it's limited stamina), and Oob & Bra (U18) seem to have a crush.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

No way he survived the Annihilation!
Oob and Bra sure would have some powerful babies. Kaio-ken is like Oob's super saiyan. That's gonna be cool to see, along with
Ssj2 Vegeta with Ssj3 power!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So I have pretty much figured out South Kaioshin's abilities by his "Annihilation".
Reaction - He analyzes his location and reacts to anything that looks wrong with it.
Rejection - He rejects a duel, making his opponent lose his guard and goes for the offensive.
Ruination - He totally, like, ruins your body and soul and stuff with a kiai attack.
Conviction - He finds a suitable punishment for the wrongdoer by meditation
Activation - He activates his full power to use Annihilation.
Affliction - Affliction of some severe damage by a ki blast shot by his mouth
Incubation - He becomes tiny and incubates in your body, slowly draining your power away (like he did with Fat Boo).
Creation - He creates mini clones of himself that distract the enemy.
Proliferation - He pretty much creates an army of mini clones to finish off his enemy.
Ramifications - He psychologically tortures his opponent by continuously telling him about the consequences of his actions and the complications that have followed.
Preparation - He prepares for Activation, which in turn enables his Annihilation technique.
Annihilation - His strongest attack that as the name says, annihilates the enemy and everything dear to him.
Salvation - He teleports the other Kaioshin to his location to prepare for conversion.
Calculations - He focuses for a weak spot or a battle strategy.
Revelations - He reveals his killing intent to the enemy, and destroys his enemy with a Final Flash-esque attack.
Evolution - He evolves into a Super Kaioshin (this, however, takes a long time and takes away his long life span).
Revolution - A trick up his sleeve in case he wants to go against the Kaioshin. It's a paralyzing technique, which is followed with Revelations and completed with Annihilation.
Realization - Follows Calculation, where he finds the ultimate battle plan.
Conversion - He converts his enemy into a good guy. This costs his and other Kaioshin their lives (which is why they don't use it)
Generations - This is an "attack" he uses in the bedroom to create new Kaioshin generations. He doesn't seem to know that he was grown on a tree.
BTW, see what I did there?

Well done. I heard some of his abilities were lost, but it looks like you found them all.Godo wrote:So I have pretty much figured out South Kaioshin's abilities by his "Annihilation".
But I loved that page. It made me want to go around yelling "ANNIHILATION!!" everywhere.

Holy cow. I guess you just made all of those up, with a ton of thought put into it of course, but are these more or less his official abilities, at least according to us fans?

Wha, really? That's kind of interesting, I'd like to see that played up more later...though I'm more of a Pan/Oob supporter if pushed.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:I finished the Novel adaptation, and I can say it gave a lot of nice info not included in the comic, like fillers. I think South Kaioshin also had a technique which was somehow related to the Z-Sword. Or maybe I'm imagining things...
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Ha ha, nice one, Godo
. As soon I saw all of the -tions and the order, I knew it.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I made them up, using the names of the Funimation DBGT releases who all ended with "-ion" in the end. Got the idea with "Annihilation", which reminded me of that set of releases.dprez wrote:Holy cow. I don't know his official abilities, though. Don't take my list as official (although it would be pretty funny if DB wikia took up on it and thought it was official).
I have to add, though, that this special's South Kaioshin is pretty badass.
Ah, yes, I missed that one. It's called "Cutification", where he uses the sword to make a cuticle shell around his enemy's body, suffocating him (he uses the sword as a butter knife, smearing plant cuticle with it).hleV wrote:I think South Kaioshin also had a technique which was somehow related to the Z-Sword. It actually hit me that you were using the names of the Dragon Ball GT releases after a few more members posted and it got me thinking. And yes, the Gods in this special are OP badass's.

Anyways, the "annihilation" might be overkill for Bibidi but perhaps the Kaioshin was trying to take out Buu at the same time. Our favourite pink blob was still in his egg.
Usually goes by "Kevtrev" elsewhere online.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So our universe 18 god's decided to let the mortals handle their own business. Seams both methods are just, although taking care of things the way they do here limits the growth of people like the Z fighters, who grow stronger through dealing with adversity caused by beings like the saiyans and Freeza.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So in Universes 1 and 10, the Kaioshins grow a brain and decide that they can't just play 3 monkeys with regards to threats like Buu and hope that the "natural order" rights itself.
