Someone already posted a DBZ Kai Part 8 review even though he doesn't physically own it and Amazons shouldn't really allow this sort of thing to happen.

Mistakes:

This set takes the viewer from episode 89 to 99.

Episode 99? I guess I shouldn't expect much from a lousy review to have the correct final episode number.

Which is Episode 97, Episode 98 is just a bonus.

(There are rumors that with the restored DBZ Level series postponed, Toei might run Kai through the rest of the series - Yay!).

It won't happen.

The Levels were cancelled and Kai flopped in Japan so neither is moving forward.

This doesn't seem too different from your usual "Hey, look at this stupid person on YouTube! Let's all rally together to point fingers at them!" posts. In this case, just replace "YouTube" with "Amazon".

It's really not necessary, and again, does not go with the spirit of this community.

My main goals for Part 8 is to restore the Yamamoto score to Gohan's SSJ2 transformation (I was gonna add an Oozaru echo to Gohan's scream which the dubs in general seem to miss, so that mixed in with any remaining vocals from the Japanese scream will flow epicly) and then add Yamamoto to 96-98 for a semi-complete scored version

Well honestly, I'm guilty of doing the same thing. I've posted reviews before owning the product, such as with Adventure Time: Season One, which expressed how good a thing it was to be getting a Season release.

It's not a bad thing to give the less informed people (not an insult) a good idea of what they are getting.

As I've said, the point of Amazon reviews is not to review the series, but the actual product/item on sale.

If someone wanted to know about a series they'd go to YouTube/other and see a trailer or episode.

I was on Ebay and a trusted seller I use had it up as a listing, and they usually get their copies early from an early shipper (RightStuf again?) Sorry to have drummed up some fuss about the eighth part of Kai - Turns out that my copy I ordered was also a pre-order from my trusted seller, but it should still come earlier than the 5th June date. Once my copy comes in, I'll post about it. Well, if people haven't gotten to it before me, as they will be able to provide much better coverage than me, I'm sure.

Since I've got Part One, Part Two, Part Three, Part Four, Part Five, Part Six and Part Seven I'm going to get this one to complete the collection and watch episodes 89-98, which I haven't seen on BD yet.

As this is the last of Dragon Ball Kai FUNimation should have included a new interview than something already seen a year or so before, I didn't watch it, personally (I don't care much for Schemmel or Sabat).

I'd be more than happy if they were to feature an interview with the one and only Dameon Clarke, Mr. Cell.

Edit: Yeah, Kai is being reproduced now on Season sets but the content on the SS won't be new, but what it was released on the Part edition.

Okay I think this needs to be said, we don't know for sure if the interview on Part 8 is the same one on Youtube or a completely new one (just because it's 4 parts long and features Sabat and Schemmel doesn't mean that its automatically the same interview from 2010, for all we know it could be a new interview that they did after they finished dubbing Kai as a reflection interview but until Part 8 is released we won't know for sure).

With the exception of Season's 1&2 which now contain the Kikuchi replacement score instead of the original Yamamoto broadcast score.

You're right, Ray, about the music change but the interview thingy, WTK is usually always correct about the info he posts on Mania.com concerning anime plus etc.

It'd be a fun experiment to have Clarke singing Dragon Soul, but then again, I just turn the Japanese audio and English subs, but having new DS singers would be nice for the English dub OP.

Anyway, I still don't like the cover but gotten used to it eventually.
