I do see it like few members here, the new dub was "needed" here in the States. Sadly, the Japanese dub was just not good.

You thought it was bad? Sure, it was worse, but it was far from bad. I though it was still good.
And I don't think the filler in Z made it more entertaining in any way, but that's just me.

I agree. I never understood when people said Japan didn't need Kai.
That's just how anime is. Filler is just a part of anime. Even DBK has filler and padding.
