No offense, dbboxkaifan, but FUNimation isn't one to make business decisions just from e-mails or petitions from Joe Schmoe. If something like that actually worked, I would eat my copy of the New York Times.

So giving the silent treatment to the public and your investors is professional behavior then? Mind explaining how this benefits the companies (emphasis FUNimation) in the long run? It's bad karma, Agito...and you know it. You shouldn't be defending this garbage.

^ It'd be very unlikely. So.. the unreleased just better to get them from 360's Zune Marketplace since they're 1080p HD.

Level 1.1 on Amazon is up for $16.99 but I don't know if I should, I really want it, though I'm not sure...

Don't bother, no doubt they will release 1.1 when they find a new more cost efficient method.

Those Levels were what I always wanted. Sad face :(

If they do, then likely the quality will be much inferior, maybe not for 1.1's but 2.1+.

And with that little bit of speculation, we bid this thread adieu...for now. :)

I just remember the great times it'd been if FUNimation didn't cancel the Level sets:

1. Son Goku Turns Super Saiyan
2. Trunks Vs. Mecha Freeza
3. Son Gohan Turns Super Saiyan 2
4. Great Saiyaman comedic episodes
5. Majin Boo's arc in general
6. Bejito turning Ultimate Bejito (Super Bejito)
7. Gotenks Silly but hilarious scenes
8. Son Goku hitting Majin Boo with the Genki Dama
9. Final episode of Zetto in 1080p HD (even though I didn't like Z's ending I'd still like to see it in HD)

But still, the audio quality's problematic, because it's not the broadcast audio but from the Dragon Boxes Z aka the muffled audio, so it's not crystal clear and superior.

Maybe someday Toei Animation will release the complete Dragon Ball Z series remastered in HD 1080p on Blu-ray, but the Japanese Blu-rays (and DVDs too) are so expensive (but the quality is definitely superior!). If FUNimation still exists to that day then an English release might exist.

Even if the Blu-rays are cancelled, I'm still going to buy them as novelty items. Same with the Ultimate Uncuts.

You wrote Bejito and Zetto, even though you wrote Dragon Ball Z and Trunks. :P

How exactly?

The Levels 1.1 and 1.2 have decreased their prices but I'm not a fan of incomplete collections, so..

I assume he would buy them with a form of payment, or maybe trade
well I think that's how he would buy them

Or do you mean how is it a novelty Item
According to wikipedia a novelty item is:
This term covers a range of small manufactured goods, such as collectables, gadgets and executive toys. Novelty items are generally devices that do not primarily have a practical function. Toys for adults are often classed as novelties.
it is a collectible, and it is a small manufactured good so It could be a novelty item

I got 1.1 and 1.2 before they were canceled (they would of ran perfectly next to the singles for full uncut dbz! But, I'm still keeping them in hopes of a new release. Plus I love the way they look :D

The Blu-rays DBZ have the orange bars as if they just took the design from the orange bricks.

I think he was referring more to the video quality, not the packaging.

Apologies for reviving this topic but thought someone would be interested to know that used copies are being sold for less than $10 at Amazon.com

DBZ 1.2 Blu-ray

Might as well bite. I've been waiting on buying these on the cheap. Better now than pay over 100 bucks like the "Girl Who Leapt Through Time" BD release.

Thanks for letting us know! I might grab 'em. Even though it doesn't quite cover the whole Saiyan arc, it's enough to pop in an episode and feel the nostlgia here and there without taing up too much space on my shelves.

Man, I really wish FUNi would just put out a "Complete Vegeta Saga" on Blu-ray. They have all the episodes done, it's just... so close... ::brain explodes::

Perhaps they could just sell a box to fit 3 Blu-ray cases, and include a third disc. Like what they did with the Ultimate Uncut line. I'd buy that!

They'll probably announce it the day after I give up on it.
