Cardass + Chou DBZ = ?
I think those Cardass cards and Chou Dragonball are going to work together in some way... I don't know how but I saw this commercial...
http://bandaitv.jp/ (Its the link that has Gokus face near the bottom, not SSGoku, regular Goku. Click "Movie")
Anyone have any idea?

So I just got this months issue of Shonen Jump (Japanese version) and in it they have some ad for what looks like the arcade game but again, with the inserting of the card thing. I have no idea whats going on anymore...
So I know I've brought this up before but here are actuall pictures this time...
That IS the arcade's fighting bar right? I'am I wrong?

My friend Andrew who's over in Japan right now sent me some pictures of the machine, but they were pretty... err... bad
. He didn't bother to use the machine, either. Now that Julian's over there, perhaps he can give us a little more insight as to what the damn thing actually is!

I don't know if I can shed any confirmation on the subject but according to the Chou/Super DragonBall Z website, there is already a IC Card system used which I presume stores win and loss totals, rank and character customizations (similar to Namco's Tekken 5 Data Card system).
In my opinion (and its just speculation from my understanding of "Data Carddass" from the commercial), the machine seems to be a special japanese vending machine with a DragonBall Z 2 simulator, where a player scans his/her carddass card and a fight occurs based on the data collected from the barcode with a number of new cards dispensed as prizes depending on how well the fight went. Again, just speculation as I could barely make out the japanese in the commercial (only the words "Read, Fight..."). I definately know that cards are dispensed as the sign above the flap read "ca-do deguchi - Card Exit".
Regards,
Yik

Eh, Tanooki Kuribo, weren't those the pictures that were asked about as being B3 for GCN? Which of course they clearly aren't, they look as though they're some crappy B2 screenshots with different HP and Ki bars
Hey I don't know what it is, all Iam saying is those pictures where in this months Japanese Shonen Jump issue. Why would they put pictures of a 2 year old game in ad in there newest issue? I dont know. So it has to be SOMTHING new.
