DragonBall meets Masters of the Universe COMPLETE

So I am currently working on a cartoon, aiming at about 5 minutes or more, of the MOTU warping to the world of DB, where Goku and He-Man fight in a tournament. This story takes place 6 years after the events of the Buu Saga.

I am taking auditions for Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, and Chi-Chi right now. If anybody is interested in voicing these characters you can send me a PM for more details.

For those interested in the project I will keep everyone updated.

This project is almost near complete, only some backgrounds and a few bits of animation to go. I'm still looking for the voice of Bulma and Chichi. If any girl out there wants to voice either one of these characters PM me.

The voice for Goku IMO is very awesome. I found someone on youtube who sounds almost like the original Pioneer Goku(s). There is even a semi-celebrity special guest star Kazu Nagahama of Tim and Eric Awesome Show!(Japanese guy opening a door with a samurai sword) and 1000 ways to die! (samurai suicide, and man who bowed himself to death) as a monk who works at the Tournaments. The narrator I found also does a very good job, he sounds like the original Pioneer dub, which really fits this cartoon since it's He-Man and DBZ. A lot of great talent that I feel very fortunate to be working.

Thank you, I have had a lot of experience with Flash for probably 10 years. I used a lot of model sheets and animated gifs to make this as perfect as I could.

I figured I'd give Goten a new hair style since its 6 years after Z. He deserves a new look, I always liked how Akira Toriyama aged his characters with new hair styles and what not. Not a big fan of his GT hair since Goten, Vegeta, and Gohan all have practicly the same hair style.

I hope everyone enjoys my decisions on Goku's voice, it doesn't sound forced just natural. Almost reminds me of the Pioneer dub.

I remember watching the 2002 He-man series and parts of the 80's He-man series years ago. I was a big fan of the show but I'm looking forward how you will handle this crossover.

The only things that I really don't like are the looping mouth flaps, which I think could be a little more timed to the dialog, and Goku saying "I sense an enormous amount of "kai" coming from you". That's supposed to be "ki", pronounced as "key".

That said, I think the animation itself is looking pretty freakin' good for Flash animation.

I actually noticed that he says Kai and not ki. I think in his audition reel he said Ki so I'll probably just reuse that recorded line instead. I just ended up putting that in cause I didn't feel like changing it. I thought I could let it slip but should have known someone would catch it lol.

Also I just contacted my friend who's doing the announcer voice to re-record the lines for Son Goku. That way it will be the real pronouncement. Thank you all for the support I really appreciate and I hope to give you all the best DBZ crossover ever made.

Just a quick update on this project, all of the animation is done. I just have a few characters to color in, and apparently I'm missing two lines, and will fix Goku saying ki instead of kai and the sone pronounciation. Then there are a couple of backgrounds to throw in, I finally found some, I was so worried about it. I'm aiming at the end of next week it will be up. I've never animated DBZ oor MOTU before and I gotta say this was very fun to do, thanks to the amazing cast, and my fiance for helping me out.

I swear I have heard the Tenkaichi song durring Jackie Chun and Goku fight over a 100 times making this and its starting to get old. I used to really like that song until this project hahaha. But I will keep you guys posted.

I gotta say I had such a blast on this project. FilmmakerJ did a wonderful job doing voices, I really like his narrator as it reminds me of the Pioneer dub, the same with the voice of Goku. His voice was actually deeper than that so I pitched it by one key and he sounds like Majin Buu arc Ocean dub. I'm still waiting for a voice for Vegeta who I think does a fantastic job as Ocean dub Vegeta. Once I get those lines I'm actually going to add in a scene and maybe tweak a few things for a directors cut. This has to be the best cast I have ever worked with, it was also so awesome having Kazu Nagahama from Tim and Eric Awesome Show and 1000 Ways to Die to make a voice appearance. Such great people, the voice of the announcer is my good friend Bo who I think also did a great announcer. All the other voices were done by myself, even though I credit myself twice as my real name and Duel Sims. I'd really like some feedback on this. Thank you all.

Thank you very much. I might be doing another one I'm writing a script right now. This time Goku would use his instant transmission to warp to Eternia in the middle of a battle with Skeletor and He-Man. I'm not sure if I'll actually do this one but I'd really like to do it. I feel like the story could go a bit longer, like a two parter or a trilogy.
