This is the end of the special. And it was the best special to me so far.

Yeah, me too. That panel with Paragus is a bit sad too.

This page was kind of sad to me, for some reason.

Is it me or does it look like West Supreme Kai is crying in the panel with the Saiyan? Perhaps Salagir could give some insight?
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

She is. I assume Broly is still an infant there considering how Paragas looks, so it's probably because she has to kill a baby that hadn't done anything wrong yet.

I didn't catch that, or think about that being Paragus and her about to kill baby Broli. Wow, this good page just got better.

Did she have to hurt Paragus too? As if killing his son isn't painful enough.. :|

...or is that from King Vegeta, maybe?

I'm sure he tried to stop her from killing his infant son, so that would be where his wounds came from.

So they terminated 2 legendary saiyans?

Yeah, presumably the first one was the "original Super Saiyan" that started off the whole legend (talking of which, who's that Saiyan woman beside the Dai-Kaioushin in the background?). After that was Broli, who the West Kaioushin killed as a baby.

Hello all.

Thinking of it, the last time I posted here, it was when...

...It never happened! I have never posted here since I have joined! NEVER!

Memes make people love you, right?

In seriousness: Hi, I just read through all of this, so now I can join in the discussion with y'all.

I'd talk about prior stuff, but I doubt anyone would care by this point, huh? lol

As of this page? Best. Special. Ever. Seeing Cold getting cut in half, and the scene with W. Kaioshin killing Broli  good stuff.

This has probably been the only decent special so far IMO.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! And what's annoying me the most is the fact that you're defending this specific name because you like it, ignoring all the others. At least I admit I'm being obnoxious, you should look at yourselves and your reasons and realize you're being hypocritical.
I never said I liked it or even thought that people should use it.

Just that they are well within their rights to. It's not anyone else's place to dictate.

None of the specials are as good as the main series of course, but I enjoyed parts of some of them.

Not bad
Vegetto universe: Pretty amusing at times. The only real annoyance was continuing the monster under the bed joke after the third time.

Bardock, Gast, and Kaioushin universes: These three were all at least decent and had a somewhat interesting story/scenes.

Eh
Broli stories: These two were... all right. They at least had some purpose. I liked Oolong getting in on the action in the first one.

Pointless
Future Trunks universe: Nothing happens that we didn't already know. Art is blah/traced.

Cell universe: Nothing happens that we didn't already know... now with unnecessary gore!

Bojack universe: Nothing happens that we didn't already know, with unnecessary gore... and some of the most laughable art ever! Seriously the only good things were the last page and the unintentional hilarity of the art. When Vegeta showed up to do a Final Flash, I cracked up for several minutes and kept laughing every time I looked back at it.

Surprised they killed Coola and King Cold in ways that wouldn't have killed Freeza. A magician did it, right?

Thus ended another boring chapter of "killing everything that poses a threat". I continue to fail to understand the point of these "specials".

South Kaio Shin vs. Fat Buu should be the next fight. I have a feeling that Buu is likely to win but let's see what they have in plan for South Kaio Shin.
