Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
Since this is the "final" BT game, I would REALLY love to see them add ALL of the movie and series henchmen and all of the characters they added into that arcade game that keeps getting updated. Throwing in an animated special wouldn't hurt at all. Bardock or the Jump special would be amazing.

Somewhere in New Jersey, Mike is already preparing the bits of his review he can write without playing the game yet.
Really hoping this news of Super Saiyan 4 is true.

I'm hoping, at the very least, we get all the characters from Meteor, Raging Blast 2 and "whoever" the new guy in the Kinect game will be (giants possibly excluded, given recent trends).
...of course I'd like more though, the other recent Heroes additions included (SS3 Trunks, SS3 GT Trunks, Chilled or SS Bardock...whoever doesn't make the Kinect cut?). Maybe even an expanded character creator for all the Heroes avatars. *-*

Abo, Kado, Aka should be in the game. Since it is the "sequel" to Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Dragon Ball characters should be in, like Nam, General Blue, Devilman, and even Arale!!

You guys are expecting this game with a bunch load of characters, but what about how they play out? If it's like BT3 they'll feel a lot like each other but with different skins. :-/JeffJarrett wrote:Abo, Kado, Aka should be in the game. This is a sequel to said game. Spike sucks at adding depth. So who the hell cares and why the hell not? loldbboxkaifan wrote:You guys are expecting this game with a bunch load of characters, but what about how they play out? Woah, didn't see this coming!
More characters than BT3? As of now my bet is that it'll probably be just the BT3 character roster with the added characters from the Raging Blast games (Table, Hatchiyack, Coola's henchmen, SSJ3 Broly and Vegeta, etc), but I'd love to be proven wrong though if there's more than that.

Judging from Goku's hair, Meteor.
Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
I'd buy if this game had the original cast in Z and the non-synthesized Kikuchi score.
That is just a random image that the blogger inserted.JeffJarrett wrote:From which game is this image:

I already seeing V-Jump scans for a Digimon game. No DBZ scans from V-Jump, yet?
Does someone has a V-Jump in his/her hands??

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.Rukura about Sparking Omega wrote:I'm imagining people from Namco Bandai looking at these big sites talking about the announcement and them going "Wait....what?! Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
I just don't want this to end up like Ultimate Tenkaichi. I absolutely hated that gameplay. hopefully we can get some mini games in this too ''I love those''
I'll keep my eye on this, I've pretty much played every dbz game on the ps2 and 360 so we'll see what happens.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

'More characters than ever?' oh god... there are some that are outright just unnecessary. Besides if this 'game' is the 'final form'. This is what should have been the 1st installment of the HD series from Spike. Getting to it now... ah I just hope it's their last game... and have an era of pause for DBZ games. Que in new developers and go on.

Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
Seriously, I think Namco-Bandi has like a random Dragonball word generator(Sparking!, Blast, Power) that they use when they want to title their games. However, assuming this isn't just a title and that they are going back to the Sparking style of gameplay(read: old control scheme) I could see this being one of Spikes better games this gen. I don't think this exactly a good thing; really they are regressing to old ideas because they are out of new ones. But hey, you stick to what works I guess.
If Spike can take the positives from this gen; the animated cut scenes, the character creator, etc. and they blend it with the (not the best but still) solid gameplay of the Sparking games we could be getting something fun. We'll see.

...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

This game has some great potential. I hope they use newer character models but I'm sure that is too much to ask.
I'm hoping they do the roster justice; off the top of my head I can think of ATLEAST 50 characters they could add in.

I'm hoping for the rest of Bojack's crew and casual outfits as costumes!

Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
I'm just surprise that they where able to do two games but the Kinect game seems like it's a easy game to make it since it's Ultimate Blast with Kinect controls. I guess I won't be done with DBZ games and I might end up buying this. I hope this will be the last game and we can have a break of DBZ games for the next few years.

Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
This is disastor, for me anyway, and the cause. If this is true, then what I've been trying to do on darn FB has been a total waste of time. Not saying this won't be better than what we've gotten this generation, but this isn't really what I wanted at all. Maybe I will get this game, simply for the sake of it; since who's to say it may not be 'fun'? One things for sure, after this game I'm definitely done, I've already wasted way too much time.
Who would have though that a franchise that granted me so much happiness as a child could give me so much pain. Imagine, in another a universe somewhere, parallel to our own, DBZ games were actually good; why are we so unlucky...?
