This is the kinda shit we got since BT2.

Let's stay with the excitement, now that we can. And let the time pass...Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Dragon Ball Cycle in full effect. I'm fairly certain these were the kind of promises we got with UT.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
That's most likely never going to happen because Namdai's too cheap to hire Dimps to make a decent Dragon Ball game, and instead they're going for the cheaper devs, aka, Spike.012yArthur0 wrote:It just me that wants a Burst Limit sequel too? With a major remake on the Ki system?
Guess who made the new Saint Seiya game, published by Namco Bandai.dbboxkaifan wrote:That's most likely never going to happen because Namdai's too cheap to hire Dimps to make a decent Dragon Ball game
But that doesn't really mean that Spike can't try a game with that play style, just that they won't.dbboxkaifan wrote:That's most likely never going to happen because Namdai's too cheap to hire Dimps to make a decent Dragon Ball game, and instead they're going for the cheaper devs, aka, Spike.012yArthur0 wrote:It just me that wants a Burst Limit sequel too? Expect to be disappointed.

Seems like Namdai devalues the Dragon Ball franchise because apparently the fans are more than happy to have more blasted BT/RB games.Rukura wrote:Guess who made the new Saint Seiya game, published by Namco Bandai.
The vocal majority (of kids) prefered Budokai Tenkaichi over Budokai. That's what did it.dbboxkaifan wrote:Seems like Namdai devalues the Dragon Ball franchise because apparently the fans are more than happy to have more blasted BT/RB games.
And this is why we can't have nice things.Rukura wrote:The vocal majority (of kids) prefered Budokai Tenkaichi over Budokai. That's what did it.
woah! that nostal guy is pretty damn good! excuse my tone haha. Sorry I too have some in depth ideas...but now that I've seen how it should be presented I now have a clear idea of what to do. Tell him thanks for the influence..and I hope he gets somewhere with this.DarkPrince_92 wrote:It's going to be a larger roster of characters, but realistically, I can't see them putting more than 20-30 more than we have already gotten, altogether that is, and maybe one or two we have never seen. Ima be the guy and say SUPERMAN should be in the game. Sadly, these long ass lists you guys come up with with fan wishes, I doubt half those characters will be considered, let alone included. Hope for the best though. I don't know if you guys are familiar with Nostal/Treevax, I like where he's going as far as ideas.

Dimps is to busy working on thousands of Sonic and Street Fighter games to do anything else.dbboxkaifan wrote:That's most likely never going to happen because Namdai's too cheap to hire Dimps to make a decent Dragon Ball game, and instead they're going for the cheaper devs, aka, Spike.012yArthur0 wrote:It just me that wants a Burst Limit sequel too? Sales figures say otherwise. Burst Limit is the highest selling DB game this generation.Rukura wrote:The vocal majority (of kids) prefered Budokai Tenkaichi over Budokai. He needs to get out of my head! It's times like this I wish I had a solid grounding on game development. You don't know how badly I just want to say fuck it and do it myself. I know that as well. I also know that sales have consistently dropped from game to game ever since.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Sales figures say otherwise. Burst Limit is the highest selling DB game this generation.
Yeah, I have no problem with going through the story again, as long as it's done right.Gonstead wrote:Thing is though, Budokai 1 actually made you feel like you were watching the show, with recaps, title cards and next episode previews to boot.Rory wrote:People still want this? It was essentially indeed the same story we have heard before but it was from a different viewing perspective.
If they could replicate this with the new Budokai Tenkaichi, it's a first day purchase for me.
