If Episode of Bardock is going into the Kinect game, I wouldn't count on it being in this game too.

I honestly don't know how any of you guys can be hyped for this. This studio has had 3 tries and struck out this generation.
This pretty much sums up my feelings. I mean, let's say this game is real. What does that mean? Well, that means Spike has 2 games coming out this year and guess what? They're both going to be terrible. Not only that but these are going for $60 each. So, if you buy both, you're wasting $120 on two terrible games. Anyone who says these are going to be good are lying to themselves and just want to believe it's good for spending that kind of money on bad games. To those people, have "fun".

I was refering to the story and characters as part of the game, actually.

Well, it would add to the character roster. Plus it would give reason for kids to check out the movie through the Kinect game. That I can see happening.

Try not to get your hopes up too high people... I mean i would like to get excited but being that were dealing with Spike disappointment is assured in some type of way. we haven't even gotten a debut scan yet so until we get that and we can pretty much piece together what the game is going to be like. Just because it says Tenkaichi 4 doesn't mean it wont play like Ultimate Tenkaichi.

As far as the roster goes I'm expecting BT3+ the six new characters from RB2 + Eis ShenLong and SSJ Bardock. And for God's sake since this is supposed to be tenkaichi 3's sequel I hope they dont decide to chop up Goku and Piccolo again and since this is their "last" game if there is more than one Vegeta, Future Trunks and Boo arc Gohan I'm going to flip.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Dimps' Sonic 4 Episode I + II games have been total garbage, it beats me why on earth they keep producing such disastrous shitty games when Sega released Sonic Generations already, SG is a fans dream game of Sonic, Sonic 4 is the opposite, a nightmare.

Maybe 2008's OVA - "Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!" heh, it'd be kind of funny if the English subbed on the game had "Yo! Goku and His Friends Return!!" even though it was clearly said Son.

You're sort of wrong, Dragon Ball Z For Kinect is going to cost $39.99 and the other it's probably the full retail price, $59.99.

DBZFK might be good if developed properly for Kinect, there are really fun and great games for Kinect.

It just depends all on how the devs develop the game but Spike being poop I'd say it's going to be bad reputation for Kinect.

Erm, i'm not sure if i missed something, but has this yet to be confirmed? Like everyone is talking about what they'd like to see and how they think this game will turn out, but until we get some initial scans, i'm guessing this is all just wild speculation?

I was hoping Mike was right and we would have seen the scans today.

So...moving from PS2 to PS3....should we expect new-ish character models or the ones from PS2 just sharper and HD-ier?

It's still Spike, they didn't go away or anything. It's likely we'll see more of the same in terms of the look department. Given the trend it will be a slight variation of UT with the Backgrounds clashing even harder.

Being an avid Pokemon fan who waits for Coro Coro scans, you typically get rumors first, and then scans a day later. Coming from Japan (currently ~11 AM), I'd expect it to show up sometime in the next six hours or so.

We have absolutely no confirmation of anything, so how would we know? Maybe we'll get better Sparking! models with the newer characters being "retro'd" or maybe all the old ones will be upgraded to Ultimate Blast models. Just wait for the image of SS4 Goku and SS4 Vegeta and see.

One thing is certain, Spike = Mediocre.

Spike did produce a TRPG game called Elvandia Story which looked pretty good and I'd much prefer an RPG than another Raging Blast or Budokai Tenkaichi.

A lot of guys here have a crazy ass long list of characters which won't happen, most likely.

Well, the only rumor about this game is that it has the largest roster yet so...

Those three of the same characters didn't add much to the game, I'm talking about "Goku (Early)" - "Goku (Mid)" - "Goku (End) they felt the same with different attacks and strength, for that matter, just use the customize options for God's sake!

What a pointless of making a game have more characters that's basically the same one.

BT3 had 160 characters BT4 will have like what 165? LOL!

There are MANY dozen characters they could add to the roster, just saying. Although yes a bunch of characters did play the same in the game BUT if you think about it a lot of them probably knew the same fighting styles, so some of it could make sense.

The Explosive Wave for example, could be made unique for each character in its own way but it feels the same for every char.

Agreed. They also should be chargable and struggle-able. Also rapid fire ki blasts should be chargable and last as long as your ki bar hold up; as with beams and balls.

Since it's been almost 5 years since Sparking Meteor I'm hoping they have been working on this on the sides while they worked on the RB games and UT/UB. That way the the game could be polished a bit more. "This has so much potential, if only the fighting system was a bit more complex" is what I always thought when playing BT3. As fun as the game was it sometimes seemed like all the combat was was hiding, charging up your ki then blasting a ultimate move in your enemy's face.

The Kinect game is stated to be around $40 according to both Amazon and Gamestop. I can see how they can make two games in one year given that the Kinect game is pretty much Ultimate Blast with Kinect controls. I guess they have been working on this game secretly after Ultimate Blast?

It's even funnier because it's true. Love how you put the AVGN in there too.
