Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
DragonBall games are still prolific enough to where people make random shit up about them? Huh. Thought that'd died out years ago.
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
I find it funny how you guys seem to jump the gun whenever something controversial is discussed. I mean, you jumped to joy/speculation when we received news of it, and now the second that someone says there's a chance it isn't real you're putting sad faces on and speculating once again that so and so is so and so. There is no more confirmation that this is real than that it isn't. We must wait till Monday, then we will know for sure.
Anyway, is anyone interested in forming an uprising, of sorts? I've already tried, in a delicate manner, but I've been thinking of going radical and gathering HUGE numbers demanding a real DB fighting game. I remember a couple months back, thousands and thousands of Dark Soul fans who were PC users took to the FB NB page, and sort of 'petitioned' for it; and looky here they were heard, sometime this year they are expecting a DS PC release. Now, if we could do the same thing, maybe this could work out. I recall reading so many comments of praise for Super DBZ on the SRK page on that vid some guy posted, so much praise, so I thought to myself that there isn't any reason why we can't do the same. Is anyone interested? Or am I alone? One thing I didn't expect when I came to this site was to find the majority of people who actually shared a mutual view of DB games.

Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
Who are the "you guys"...? There are dozens upon dozens of people responding, all with their own individual thoughts. It seems a little unfair to lump everyone together into a single viewpoint.
Dark Souls sold well over a million copies in North America and Europe alone, in addition to whatever From Software sold on their own in Japan. A PC port of that game (and specifically that kind of game) made financial sense. Yeah, Ultimate Tenkaichi/Blast seems to have done better than expected, but the last time they released a "real" DBZ fighting game, the larger fanbase neither bought nor supported it. Why would they do it again? Just because a few folks seems to have rallied behind it six years later?
You're not thinking about this from a business perspective, but instead from a die-hard fan's perspective... which, unfortunately, never works with this franchise.

Nothing weird about it.I wish to see the same things and maybe this time we can get Gokua/Kogu.Insertclevername wrote:I'm hoping for the rest of Bojack's crew and casual outfits as costumes!![]()
Yeah, I know, weird requests right?
About this new game,i think it is the best decision if they are going back to the Sparking style of gameplay(read: old control scheme).
Finally, we will get Tenkaichi 4 and hopefully with more costumes to the main characters as well.
Anyway, i prefer to wait and judge later.
That's too good.SRB2Unleashed wrote:*Snob mode on*
Budokai 1 cutscenes. Raging Blast 1 graphics. GT & RB2 characters. Tenkaichi 3 gameplay with RB2 customization. Character creator.
That is all.
You never know with NamcoBandai.mysticboy wrote:This is the true sequel to Sparking friggin METEOR and their last game. Rest assured, they're going all out. The main reason people were disappointed by this gen's DB was because people were expecting that fast-paced Sparking gameplay deepened. Pretty sure Spike's going to take the hint this time.
They did a terrible job with Saint Seiya.Rukura wrote:Guess who made the new Saint Seiya game, published by Namco Bandai.dbboxkaifan wrote:That's most likely never going to happen because Namdai's too cheap to hire Dimps to make a decent Dragon Ball game

Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
Y'know, if they did release one last Sparking! that played more like the PS2/Wii games than the more recent offerings, and just went to effing town with the roster, I'd be a happy clam. I'm very much more of a Budokai fan than Sparking/BT (and even more of a Super DBZ fan), but Meteor was the last DBZ console game I actually truly enjoyed. I do admit that I haven't played every DragonBall PS3/360 game, but the two I do own (Burst Limit, Raging Blast 2) in addition to the one I've played but don't own (Raging Blast 1), I pretty much loathe.

Re: Dragon Ball Sparking! Omega announced for PS3 and 360
Ah, sorry about that. Was mainly referring to the very recent comments who completely changed their state of mind to the opposite just because of the possibility of this not being true. Don't 'be dissapoint', be neutral; until Monday anyway, then we can surely be as dissapointed and delighted as much as we want, since we'll know what, if anything, is going on.VegettoEX wrote:Who are the "you guys"...? Hmm, you're very right. Maybe I wasn't considering just how well Dark Souls was/is doing especially compared to the DB franchise, I guess I'm just desperate for a brilliant DB game is all. There is no guarantee that doing something like this wouldn't work though, the success ratio is just so much smaller than to that of the Dark Souls situation. Sure, the sales for DB games have descreased year after year, after year after year, and it may seem that making such a radical change and catering to an entirely different audience would be too much of a risk. However, a radical change is actually precisely what this franchise needs if anyone in charge wants it to do well. And what if we are able to gather thousands upon thousands, eh? Assuming that could happen, do you think that we'd fair a better chance? I've come to the conclusion recently that practically nearly everyone is/was a fan of DB at some stage, or at least has kind words for the anime. I'm pretty sure that if I were to go to SRK, nearly the entire site would agree that they'd like to see a real DBZ fighter. Or am I being too naive?Dark Souls sold well over a million copies in North America and Europe alone, in addition to whatever From Software sold on their own in Japan. I don't think there'll ever be a "brilliant DB game" the nearest to that, imo, it was Burst Limit and Budokai 1, as it followed the series closely.DonieZ wrote:I guess I'm just desperate for a brilliant DB game is all.
Yesterday I took a look at the games Spike developed and they really were low quality, such a shame to not find one decent game.

I saw him skipping quite a few Dragon Ball themed pages in there. Most seemed to be related to Dragon Ball Heroes, but we don't know if all of them were.MewtwoZX wrote:If it's legal to post this video here:

I'm kinda looking forward for this to turn into nothing and a non-announcement from all the hype it got in a day, but I'd like to be absolutely sure and not go by what some dude decided to show on camera.

But if you think about it, when was there a DBZ Game announced with whole text and not even a screenshot, a scan, or something? When?Rukura wrote:And then he focuses on a Dragon Ball Heroes page for no aparent reason.MewtwoZX wrote:Probably yes. He'd stay at it if it was a new game info.

Dragon Ball 3DS Comes to mind, but that was just a placeholder name and all, not even a real announcement. We still know nothing about it yet, so anyways this year 3DS might save our year if they will announce any DBZ for it.

Either way, someone mislead/lied. People hate getting jerked around. Whichever the outcome is (fake/real), someone has indicated that it's otherwise.Ah, sorry about that. What would you have to gain with this being fake? If the game exists and is trash, then you don't buy it... and you aren't affected by it at all, right?dbboxkaifan wrote:This is just an April Fools? Thank God!![]()
