Where are they? Do they really exist?

It must exist but hardly any.

Thanks in advance.

One of the reasons why I prefer the original music. Those silent moments add to the intensity and realism I think. Also a reason why the Faulconer score can sometimes annoy me, it never shuts up. :x

There was a discussion on this earlier. I'm too lazy to dig it up, there were actually quite a few examples given. Still, yes rarely did the score every shut up. That's what Funimation asked for.

The one I remember the best was when Vegeta died at the hands of Frieza. As his head fell we went completely silent. Well, actually there's a lowww drum roll that can be heard on some speaker systems, but even with that there's a nice long pause afterward.

There was a really long one early on in the Ginyu saga I think...the story kinda demanded it I think. Anyone remember that one? Anyone remember where we discussed this before? Should post a link to it ^^

The only instance I remember off the top of my head was when Mr. Satan threw #16's head over to Gohan during the Cell Game.

*throws head*

*music stops*

*head lands, bounces, and rolls*

Gohan: "Android... 16?"

*music starts again*

There's one that has always stuck out in my head. It's in episode 281, during the part when Buu and Goku are underground.

The only silent moment I can think of off the top of my head is when Ginyu squashes that fly just as he decides to switch bodies with Goku... and as I recall, it lasts barely a second, if even that.
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

I do recall an instance of silence while Vegeta is preparing to fight Cell after leaving the Room of Spirit and Time. It's only a short moment, but it occurs when Goku offers to transport Vegeta with his Shunkan-ido and the two just stare at each other.

I remember another scene in the Cell Saga where Goku and his family were listening to the radio about the Army preparing to fight Cell.

There was a moment of silence as the radio announcer spoke and Goku said something like "Fools. Don't they know what they're getting themselves into?"

There was one after Kid Buu pulled SSJ3 Goku underground and then Goku assaulted him, then the music started back up with the last kick. (filler of course)
