Has Kanzenshuu (Daizenshuu EX) Ruined Other Forums For You?

I originally took the underlying screen shot almost exactly two years ago. I have no idea where it's from anymore. But it doesn't matter.

WOW, the sigs on the forums I go on are nowhere near that big and if they are then they usually have hide post tags.

I'm pretty sure that can work since you can do that on other forums like Toho Kingdom and TGTWG for example. It seems like Kanzenshuu has a good rep across the web and it seems like the OBD likes us.

I have no idea what the Outskirts Battle Dome is, or why it matters if they like us (seriously, I would like to know those two things, I'm not being flippant), but, damn, is that poorly-written.

Daizenshuu EX or Daizex is a Dragon Ball site that has the latest news on the series and its very own podcast. The site can be very biased at some points but it is the best place to ask questions or talk about Dragon Ball. The members are mostly friendly but they have been known to bitch a lot over stuff like the Funimation dub, and how most stuff never comes to Japan. And pretty much anything no one would give a damn about. The moderators can be very strict on stuff like small spelling errors and that you can't make more then one thread a day. Other then the bad stuff, its not a bad place at all.

Doesn't sound like they like us all that much. Also "most stuff never comes to Japan"? We bitch about that? Stuff doesn't come to Japan when it comes from Japan? Can't make more than one thread a day? "Then"?

The OBD is a vs forum section on Narutofan. I used to post there until I got bored with the place since it was just gossip always going on in the Convo threads and it got old fast. They made some good Dragon Ball profiles on their wiki as well. At least they are nicer to use compare to other DBZ sites like MFG for example.

Hmm. Well I wasn't able to find any reference to us in the site, and I wasn't able to access their forum. Took me to a Hyundai ad instead. So... what do they say about us?

Well, I guess there wouldn't be a definitive answer now since the forum was taken down two years ago unless a former member from there remembers the general opinion of the members from MFG. I wasn't a member on there, but I did lurk from time to time. In fact, there was a thread about the death of the MFG forums:

Apparently, there was an attempt to revive the forums a year ago, but that forum died as well.

My answer to this topic: Somewhat. I do have a standard of what I like from a message board when it comes to the rules, the members, and the "cleanliness" of a message board. I think that partially comes from being a member on here for so long. I am on other message boards that are a little more relaxed than here, but not by much more than this forums standards.

I would say it somewhat ruined it for me in a good way though.

I never really fully understood why this forum doesn't have a off-topic section, if the reason is something like "It would distract people from discussing Dragon Ball and instead go to talk about other stuff" or something like that, than I would still disagree. I know plenty of forums that have off-topic sections and members there still actively discuss the main topic. Besides, I've always been curious about how the people here think about stuff other than Dragon Ball (movies, shows, celebrities, political stuff, etc).

These is something called personal messaging aka PMs. You can say anything you want there. I turn them off personally because from my experience at another forum, people have only used pms to flame me or send unfiltered versions(basically with insults included of whatever the debate is about) of their argument. I feel like if you have something to say, don't hide it, this isn't yahoo messenger so post it and let everyone read it and it has paid off recently.

I used to be apart of funimation forums(before the recent overhaul) but I drifted away when hokagesroom went up. Another forum was dying, one led me to just disabling pms even though I still frequent the forums, one was one sided in hoe db games should be made, and one was straight out rude.

My thing about picture signatures at that they can get annoying, and they can make a thread look messy. Mostly they slow my computer down being that its almost 10 years old with even older tech.

Back to what I was quoting you about, you could just click the persons name and look at their contact info for such inquires.

I would agree with what TripleRach said before.

The rules basically boil down to "Don't be rude, don't be obnoxious, and put some effort into your posts."

I mean, that's about it. And the mods are super lax about it. Heck, I'd say they've relaxed even more since when I joined. A lot of the threads here tend to go way off-topic (When news gets slow) and, unless it's really bad, the mods will typically let it run it's course.

Yes it has, I really do love how the forums are basically all about Dragon Ball, and have people who actually know what they're talking about. Easily the best DB information website and forums i've seen. I can't see myself going back to any other forums

This is pretty much the only forum I've registered on. (I had joined another forum before but it randomly dissapeared a long time ago). There is another forum I want to join badly but I can't stand oversized, unnecessary pictures in signatures and all the misspellings in short pointless comments that are made just to get the post number up. Makes the forum look like one big clusterfuck.

Kanzenshuu is the best.
