What I do is I take shots so they overlap a bit. Put them in photoshop, overlap each image and use the eraser tool (feathered). Of coarse, overlapping wont always work.

Doesn't Gohan look kind of "older" in that shot? Especially since he'd be ten or nine or eleven...whatever

Technically he's 9 if you don't count the birthday filler episode.

Yeah just because he looks taller in that picture. He looks bigger than he does as an adult in that picture.

It looks a lot like this Gohan action figure which I own.

Oooh!!! LOVE these!
They are pretty awesome to make too!

I most of the time share my *bad quality - super saturated* ones on Tumblr, but thought I might as well share them here in case anyone of you who has dragon box wish to re-do them :)

The ones I did might have already been done in the past, sorry about that! I'll swap them around if better quality ones has already been posted!
I got a whole heap of them (and I mean quite a few!), which you can find in my photobucket: http://photobucket.com/Pans
Unfortunately Photobucket makes them smaller than normal, so if anyone wants the full screen sized ones, feel free to ask. Haha, but once more, it's just so saturated =.=

If you can, install a free program like GIMP, and use a very soft, blurry eraser to blend the edges of the frames together. Then manually edit the brightness of each frame if you get inconsistencies in brightness as you did.

Gohan always looked noticeably taller after leaving the Room of Spirit and Time. He's definitely too tall in that image though, but it looks like it's from a Last House episode, so...

Just use a program like Irfanview and save them as high quality JPEGs. PNGs are best for quality, though are very large comparatively, and I don't think a few tiny artifacts (which are hardly noticeable on high quality JPEGs) matter much for these camera pans. For Irfanview, quality 90 and up is recommended, and still at a size that Photobucket shouldn't shrink.

This is clearly in the incorrect aspect ratio. It looks like it was 4x3 stretched to 16x9. I'm curious as to the source of these, but if this is all you have, then make sure the resolution is at least 640x480, or 720x540 if they are 4x3 screenshots. If it's from the orange bricks, which are 16x9, then the resolution should be 853x480.[/quote]

Those would be good, but it looks like you filtered them with rather heavy noise reduction, which makes them look heavily blurred.

I generally use photoshop to knit them together. Majority of my screenshots are saved as PNG (although resolution is still only at 72dpi) I would save as TIF (with resolution of 300dpi) but it just isn't very good for websites nor worth the space for simple screenshots. But as for website hosting, photobucket has been just one I've found most suited, even if it does shrink. I've also tried tinypic, but I don't quite like the security you have with it, even if you have an account.

I would not have a clue as to what ratio is for most of these. I only have the last 2 orange bricks, which I hardly ever watch these days as I can't stand the quality. I didn't bother to buy the rest either.
My screen is actually very wide (1366 x 768 landscape) and it just ruins things when I try to screen shot them. I can't make them full screen or else the characters tend to look really wide compared to other screenshots taken by other people. As for that picture, it's been a while -I think I probably shrunk it down or something - which is such a big mistake on my behalf!

I'll definitely have a look at the ratios and resolutions next time. Thank you so very much for that!

What exactly is a camera pan?

I read the other explanations and I don't get it

It's when you see an image on screen, and the "camera" is slowly moving to the other side of the image. People here are threading those together to get the full picture. As an example, the red box is the only thing you see on screen at one time.

(This might not be exactly the amount that is seen in the show. I just cropped that to 4:3 and put a box around it. You should get the idea, though.)

Now that I think about it, I think I would prefer this design for Gohan if it appeared in the Buu Saga.

It has a very Goku-esque facial design which is what I like about it. It also looks like if it were actually Cell Games Gohan but 7 years older.

And heck, even imagining Nozawa, Hebert and Swaile speaking through that design makes me like it even more.

Anybody want to do EP 254 "The Evil of Men" with the pan-stop-pan-stop of Kaioshin, Goku, and Kibito poking from behind the tree. I'd really appreciate it. I'd do it myself, but I'd suck doing it with ms paint.
