AB Groupe still has the rights to control Dragon Ball content in Europe? So AB Groupe's the one who did Dragon Ball Kai French Dub?

I'll check that "Season One" video with Free Hide IP after I've finished uploading demos to a different website. Quality video from Orange Bricks to Dragon Box Z.. LOL!

I'd call bullshit on that. I don't believe they hold the rights anymore, or at least not in the whole continental Europe. I'm pretty sure they don't hold the rights over Portugal anymore. We did get late Buu arc and GT directly from Japan before they did so... There's that.
I think they're just a bunch of twats who still think they hold some importance whatsoever, but unfortunately they go unchecked and can do whatever they want in regards of Dragon Ball, mostly because, besides us, no one gives a shit about the franchise.

According to the official TFS twitter, a sneak peak of episode 30 will be shown at A-Kon. I assume the sneak peak will then be uploaded to YouTube later that evening.

It's better to stick to the original episodes that this custom made "season one" video.

So they want to fit what, 17 episodes into half an hour? We may well be at the most ambitious part of abridging the series. Kai only cut out what, four episodes? The "final test" before they're even halfway done, looks like.

Should be fine really. Most of the battle can be cut without arming the plot that much.

By the way, it's actually 12 1/2 episodes, not 17. Split into three part chunks.

We're cutting down 12 1/2 episodes of the actual show into 3 parts. Probably about... 10 minutes each. At least.
