Out of (morbid) curiosity, yes. I’d probably make my mind up on whether or not I think it’s good and worth continuing to watch after a couple of episodes.

No, I've stayed as far away from Evolution itself as it is.
Option 2: If it were a TV series but paid much more respect to the source material (ex no Highschool for Goku etc) would you watch it?
I actually wouldn't be interested in another TV adaptation which follows the same story again. In fact, hasn't that been one of the criticisms of the DBZ video games on the podcast, that they're just the same story over and over again?

So, if the characterizations stayed consistent, I really wouldn't be opposed to a new show deviating from the "story" which came before. All in all, a new take on Dragon Ball shouldn't be considered a "bad" thing, it's the execution of such a take which has yet to prove itself.

With that said, however, I've never been interested in the whole "let's make a live action version of this popular animated property!" craze. As was seen with Evolution, there are people who cannot seem to separate the two entities and base criticisms on whether something in a live action movie really happened in the original manga.

So... yeah, something new and not a blatant money grab trying to squeeze every last drop out of the cash cow would be something I'd at least give a chance.

Well, after I watched Evolution I sort of wanted to kill myself, I wanted to go back in time and warn myself not to watch it because it was so bad I was genuinely scared it might grow in me like a disease and forever taint my view of Dragon Ball as a whole. Luckily, I escapes from such a fate.

If the series existed? Yeah, it watch it, both from obligation, and in a sort of twisted adrenaline-junkie kind of way. I might be able to like it, even if I'm aware that it's awful, just by virtue of it being Dragon Ball, unless it was actually popular because then I'd despise it for making people think that's what Dragon Ball is.

I think everyone would be at least curious to watch a little of it. It's hard to judge it when we can't see it.

Yes, because it would be the first rehash with original ideas.

People are too quick to judge, this is the problem.

Maybe not Evolution but, say something like Smallville that might focus on Goku as a kid or something like that. If it was done with respect to the original material I think I'd watch it.

There's this series called Dragon Ball Z which has been airing on TV over and over since 1998. Reason being is because every new generation of kids gets to watch it, thus making an Evolution TV series pointless and stupid.

Let's make an entire TV series based off of a terrible movie based off of an anime based off of a 25 year old manga series.

If they feel that it can make the $$$ off it they would do it.

I'd rather not see the DBE TV Series like what happened to Charlie's Angels last year. My two cents.

Based off of Evolution? Just no. An entirely new production with new actors and crew? Yes.

Hm, that's different, there's already the list of actors, actresses and how they're dressed, while this is simply a non-existent series.

"DBZ Saiyan Saga" is gonna flop, I just don't see being decent, the Saiyan armour is atrocious and the chosen actors/actresses aren't all exactly fitting to the characters they're going to play.

Oh yeah, it's different, but you're still prejudging something. We haven't seen any actual footage yet, fair enough if we had, but we haven't.

Hell no! I can imagine it as that adventure series like Hercules or Xena which spawned tens of really bad imitations with Mortal Kombat Conquest included..........
I don't wanna see another series with pointless dialogues, one fight at the end of each episode, various forest locations and three buildings for whole season.
It's always hard with sci-fi fantasy themed series, the only ones I kinda liked because of production were Stargate and Star Trek and I'm not much of a Star Trek fan.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

What was bad about Hercules and Xena? Those shows were very enjoyable.
