New Toei DVD Covers
Toei has released the cover art to the next three DBZ DVDs, and I must say that they truly look amazing! We've posted them on the Kanzentai.com's main page, and you can also check them out on the Jumpland site here: http://www.toei-anim.co.jp/ptr/dragonball/z/index.html

Toei's kinda had the art up for about a week now, so it's not exactly a very recent addition. XP
But yeah, I really do love the Japanese covers. Put together, the art looks rather nifty. You got Vegeta punching Zarbon on the left, the Ginyu in the middle and Goku punching Ginyu on the right. XD
Here's some slightly bigger versions of the covers:

As usual, really impressive. Even though I don't have them (and have no reason to get them), I was unimpressed with Hokuto no Ken TV I+II individual discs as they were just screenshots, mucked around a bit, and since that was also Pony Canyon I was afraid we'd be treated to a similar display of mediocrity, but hey, my hat is being eaten!
I love the Zarbon image. Unfortunately, he looks more surprised at being hit than he does hurt.

Anyone find it strange that one topic concerning DVD covers was closed, whereas this one is still alive (Well, and that other one had terrible syntax, but... yeah....)
Anyway, to get to my point; those DVD covers are totally awesome. I wish FUNimation's where at least half as cool.

Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!
Dictionary.com wrote:dub
1 a. To transfer (recorded material) onto a new recording medium.
b. To copy (a record or tape).
2. To insert a new soundtrack, often a synchronized translation of the original dialogue, into (a film).
3. To add (sound) into a film or tape: dub in strings behind the vocal.
n.
1. The new sounds added by dubbing.
2. A dubbed copy of a tape or record.
As you can see, the term "dub" doesn't just mean it's replacing original voices.Wikipedia wrote:Dubbing (filmmaking), the process of recording or replacing voices for a motion picture

Let's not be dumb with our definitions. It's quite obvious that "dub" refers to something other than the original.

While not entirely on the same subject (and feel free to split the thread if need be), I was looking at the "Animation DVD Weekly & Total Sales in Japan, Oricon Magazine, January 23, 2006" thread on AnimeonDVD.com's forums, and this came up-

Of course, the numbers are the individual copies sold of each respective volume, but good lord that's incredible, for a TV series anyway. This might be the norm, I'm not sure, but I thought I'd bring this up for people anyhow*2 17,298 *,*17,298 DRAGON BALL Z Dai7kan (1/11)
*3 17,236 *,*17,236 DRAGON BALL Z Dai8kan (1/11)
*4 17,087 *,*17,087 DRAGON BALL Z Dai9kan (1/11)
