What's the general consensus on the placement of the Kikuchi tracks throughout the new Blu Rays? From what I'm reading above, it seems pretty disappointing.

Well, Blu-rays and DVDs.Aoi wrote:What's the general consensus on the placement of the Kikuchi tracks throughout the new Blu-rays? From what I'm reading above, it seems pretty disappointing.
You be the judge. Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cW9wjymT6M
Yep, there isn't any variety as you can hear from the BGMs used.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

That video is blocked in the US.
Anyway, most people tend to say that it's pretty repetitive and only uses a few tracks, but tolerable.

*watches the clip ... gets a drink of water... spit-take* I was certainly not expecting music like that. I can't think of any action scene that would fit into. That sounds more like something for the Great Saiyaman's antics.
EDIT: Would have helped if I quoted the original post. I'm talking about the Twenty-Fold Realm King Fist scene.

At the very least, I think the song when Goku starts attacking Freeza fits more than the song played during that part in Yamamoto's score, though that track was superior during the beginning part of the Kikuchi version.kei17 wrote:Here's another one in Japanese: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AgIaySnUTlgPokewhiz7 wrote:That video is blocked in the US.

To me, that second track fits Goku vs. Cell much better than Goku vs. Freeza for some reason, but I do agree that the first one is way far out of left field.

In the original part 1 release, the end credits for episode 12 incorrectly listed Sean Schemmel as Mr. Popo, sadly this mistake was not corrected in the season 1 release.

Not surprising. The Dragon Box credits were just copy-and-pasted from the season sets.Codarik wrote:In the original part 1 release, the end credits for episode 12 incorrectly listed Sean Schemmel as Mr. Popo, sadly this mistake was not corrected in the season 1 release.
