What Would You Like To See Brought Over?

Post by Tanooki Kuribo » Sun Jan 22, 2006 10:50 am

I have some time to kill here and so I was thinking, there are some Dragonball things that will never leave Japan, If you could pick one thing that hasn't come here (and probley will never come here) what would it be?

There is that Playdia video release, Goku's Fire Fighting Regiment video, Goku's Traffic Safty video, commercials, video games, Neko Majin, guide books, I think there is a Super Saiyan desk...? :?

I pretty much only want the Playdia footage and the Neko Majin Kanzenban. The rest seems irrealistic and unnecessary at this point. Maybe the Super Butoden's could get rereleased on GBA or something?

I wish they'd release all the art books in English.

Even if they dub the Playdia movie I probably wouldn't watch it, if I did it'd be just to see how Funimaton handled it. If they use their BGM and not a new set of tracks.

Actually, this would probley be the only time where FUNimation's tracks would be better then the original.

Dragon Boxes. >_> *cough*

The Daizenshuu would definately be very nice to see. If France could get it, why haven't we? :(

Oh wait. That's cause the US changes quite a few things, particularly names, from the original. >_>;

Depends which tracks they use.

I didn't really find the playdia movie BGM that good though, they should have used pieces from the original score.

Well, when I was over in Japan I had the opportunity to pick up this, Dragonball Forever, and the something that's simply titled Dragonball Z. Of course I have no freaking clue how to read Japanese (aside from the few bits and pieces of Kanji I picked up and the Katakana for karaoke). The latter of those three is probably my favorite, simply because it has lots of full-color pictures on high-gloss paper. It was also the most expensive of the three at around $13.

I tried to find a copy of Dragonball: Landmark, but I couldn't find one after the one I initially passed up at a store in Osaka.

I'd like to see Neko Majin AND Neko Majin Z, having only read the latter and would enjoy having it in book form.
On hiatus.

I'm sure they'll be done eventually. There are three volumes. The paperback versions are the size of DB tankoubon.

The Daiz would be cool, but I don't find it to be acurate in the PL's therefore I lose some of my faith in it.

Oh, I know the Daiz has a load of flaws n' all, but it would still be fascinating as heck and a great collection of artwork.

That's rather bad. o_O I never understood why people felt battle powers were important. Who cares if they aren't entirely correct? There were very few times where battle powers were even brought up in between the two sagas they appeared in.

Just for the fact of having behind-the-scenes info from Toei regarding movies or having full information regarding some things that weren't touched up on would be great.
