Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So what the artist is suggesting is that a person who masters the form of Ascended SSJ can surpass a SSJ2?

So far he has only managed to grab a punch. We don't even know if Vegeta is fighting seriously considering that he said that he wouldn't mind holding back.

Vegeta will beat Trunks and then Cell (since he is stronger than Bojack) so that we will see another Goku vs Vegeta fight in the semi-finals.

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Trunks looks as big as LSSJ Broli.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
That's quite an increase in strength Trunks got. It's just his Mastered Ssj self using Grade 3 and not having a speed loss. Easier than trying to achieve Ssj2, but very effective apparently. Of course, Vegeta is holding back and Trunks is probably at max power.
It's funny how Trunks is so much bigger than his Dad.

So what you're saying is that his power is maximum?hleV wrote:Trunks looks as big as LSSJ Broli.
I don't know, the series has been in a real slump lately...

What I'm really waiting for is XXI, and Universe 5 to be revealed. That's the only universe they've not explored.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
There were some spoilers leaked some years ago that said that XXI was the guy that sealed Ru Kaioshin into the Z-Sword, and I think it said that he was going to be the main villain. They were in the comments section of the DBM site, but they were removed by Salagir. At least that's what I heard from the witnesses. Of course, all these could change in the future, and XXI could be entirely different from what those spoilers said.Hades wrote:What I'm really waiting for is XXI, and Universe 5 to be revealed. Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I doubt he can surpass Vegeta even if he masters the ASSJ form..
Looks to me like he just really learned how to switch it on/off, and if you're smart enough, that should be enough to win... Sometimes is not about power, but brains...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I wonder why Vegeta even rushed him as a SS2 if he wasn't expecting something like this? Wouldn't he just go back down to SS to be on the same level as Trunks?

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I almost wanna say this is the crappiest looking page in the regular Multiverse chapters so far.
This brings me back to how I used to think that LSSJ Broli was just Trunks from his fight with Cell but with a different costume lol. Ah, childhood...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Despite the apprehension a lot of people seem to have, I find this so much more interesting than if he had simply gone SSj2. Is there any reason there can't be levels that other characters can discover?

The problem is this form just canonically sucks and is inferior to SS1, let alone 2.Kingdom Heartless wrote:Despite the apprehension a lot of people seem to have, I find this so much more interesting than if he had simply gone SSj2. That, and the art seems to be steadily declining in the last few pages.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This page just seems weird because Trunks looks somewhat disproportionated compared to Vegeta (too big) in the biggest panel. But that is just one panel of the page. The others seem good.Rukura wrote:That, and the art seems to be steadily declining in the last few pages.
In the last pages, the only panels I could say looked a little off were the panels with Goku and Uub and this one.
In the immediate following (future) pages there aren't any panels that I have a problem with.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
In the page where Vegeta and Trunks transform, in the last panel (I think), the lines in on of Trunks' eyes were much thicker than the other. That along with weird looking Goku and Uub, the size issue with Trunks and how weird even his face is drawn in the last page is the kind of sloppyness I'm not used to with this series.rereboy wrote:This page just seems weird because Trunks looks somewhat disproportionated compared to Vegeta (too big) in the biggest panel. Yeah, I'm being nitpicky, but they set their own standards with all the previous material.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Could he really beat this version of Cell? If Vegeta never reach SSj3 level then I see him having a hard time winning. People believe that this version of Cell is around SSj3 level going how the Cell Jr. was stated to be stronger Super Perfect Cell.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Vegeta will beat Cell (since he is stronger than Bojack)

That's what I assume, since there is a chance for another Goku vs Vegeta. Of course, I could be wrong.Hellspawn28 wrote:Could he really beat this version of Cell?
