MY HOLY GRAIL (110% Serious. Please sell me one)Mayuri Kurotsuchi wrote:"In this world, nothing perfect exists. It may be a cliche after all but it's the way things are. That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. But ultimately I have to ask myself "What is the true meaning of being perfect?" and the answer I came up with was nothing. Not one thing. The truth of the matter is I despise perfection! If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"
I'm almost certain these will be the exact same discs from parts five and six, just with new disc art.Gonstead wrote:Hopefully they will fix the "Dude my truck!" mistake.
I wouldn't mind picking this up if they do fix it.
Dont be sure. DBZ Kai season 2 had voice edits.Pokewhiz7 wrote:I'm almost certain these will be the exact same discs from parts five and six, just with new disc art.Gonstead wrote:Hopefully they will fix the "Dude my truck!" mistake.

Only because they had to remix it with the new music. There's nothing major on these discs to change.DHM211 wrote:Dont be sure. Voice edits? What'd you mean? Are you talking about those lines that were obviously for the TV version but ended up on the DVD version? If so I had no idea they fixed that. Nice.DHM211 wrote:Dont be sure. No, they mean an (some?) uncut lines on the previous DVD were replaced with Toonzai dub lines, such as Freeza saying "this planet is positively crawling with scum" in the uncut version, but in the new DVD version he says "wimps" instead of "scum", as he did in the Toonzai version. Not nice at all.Tanooki Kuribo wrote:Voice edits? What'd you mean? Are you talking about those lines that were obviously for the TV version but ended up on the DVD version? Example here.
Apparently not. From reading this thread, only that Freeza line seams to have been changed on this Kai season set...lame, but o well, it's such a miniscule thing anyway.SM-dood wrote:There weren't any audio errors on the original dvd/bluray parts, was there? (Minus the paper clip truck guy.)
I thought they recorded two entirely different dubs? Why would they go and mix the audio from the edited one into the uncut one?Codarik wrote:It would be upsetting if the "dude my truck!" line isn't removed from this set. I mean, you would think someone at FUNi would notice and say "Wait a minute, that ain't right!"
