The rest of the movies seem a bit sharper and have better colors but, movies 12 and 13 dragon box seem to have a pinkish/ lavender tint. Can anyone tell me why this is.

I dunno, from what I've seen, those movies look fine. It's DB movie 1 that has a sickly green tint to it.

Cleaning up some of the pointless posts -- c'mon folks, if you don't really have anything to add, it's not a helpful part of the discussion :).

If I remember correctly, didn't movie 13 have some really odd ghosting? Like something from an entirely different scene was lightly visible on top of the animation?

That was movie 12, and it was a frame of Gogeta that appears for one frame when Super Saiyan 3 Goku is attacking Janemba, and it's in every version of the film.

Pokewhiz put it through VLC and slow the footage down by 0.03x and you should see it. I talked about it in the Error's thread.

I just think of it as foreshadowing due to all the dimensional distortions Janemba's been causing.

How exactly does that ghosting effect happen? The only thing I can come up with is maybe the film print from the Gogeta scene was touching the other one in storage and impressed the image on that part. How did this occur?

Yeah, this thing is bugging my mind since some guy here pointed it up. It's impossible to be done intentionaly, or how can this be achieved? Is it present even in the ''cinema'' or first version of it (we'll probably never know)? Or due to some digital conversion?

The closest you could get is to check the Japanes VHS and Laserdisc releases, I suppose.
