Nice little bonus scene too, I can't believe I never noticed that parallel!

I'm sure they know that. I just assume they were trying to play the scene in "Engrish" for a joke, not actual Japanese.

I think VegettoEX should be Garlic Jr., if only because it would be the ultimate conclusion to the joke.

Awesome finale!

I'm still totally blown away that you all have been doing this for as long as you have (I got into DBZA in college and I'm well past graduated now) and still retain such high quality. Bravo! Looking forward to the next season!
If I were a saiyajin, I'd be Raditz because I'm only kind of rad.

Haha, me too, even as random bystander no. 12. But, this finale was great, I loved the editing on all 3 parts and I found it funny how you guys poked a hole at the original plot. Nappa should have been revived based on the wording of the wish.

Nah, I don't think it was a plothole in the original plot, just the one they'd made up themselves for their own DBZA universe. Although you could argue that Vegeta was or was not one of Freeza's men either way.

Vegeta was one of Freeza's men all the way up to him going after him being revived.

Oh man, this is definitely one of the best episodes yet. I died at all of the Freeza stuff, and poor Yamcha's breakup with Bulma. Not to mention the Avengers callout with Dr. Briefs.

Not really. In fact, that's why that one Namekian village is never restored. He stopped being one of Freeza's mean somewhere around... probably the end of the Saiyan arc/beginning of the Namek arc.

I totally missed Goku saying, "It'll demormalize him!" when I watched part one the first time. Love Goku's malapropisms.

Great, amazing, wonderful things:

- Goku's cutting wit
- "I'm not even asking anymore."
- MUFFIN BUTTON
- Yamucha and Bulma's argument
- The golf narration
- "Ah, Godzira."
- Dende's confession to Gohan
- THIS ENTIRE SEASON

Great job, TFS! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with Trunks, the Artificial Humans, etc, in season 3.

He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

Okay, it's a long way off, but I'm calling it right now. You guys heard it right here.

Dende hates Videl.

That made me think of something - since they're covering the Garlic Jr. arc, is season 3 going to go all the way to the Cell Games, or stop somewhere along the way I wonder.

Those actually stem both from our Goku being really dense and us wanting to mock the original dub script that had Goku spouting off these 10 dollar words that, for all intents and purposes, he shouldn't be utilizing. Of course, a couple of them have actually stemmed from us writing them in correctly, realizing he wouldn't know the word, then either making him mispronounce it or use it incorrectly.

That would be hilarious, plus it would be a good twist. I can imagine Dende saying: "Oh, did you make out with him you flat-chested slut!"

Oh, I can IMAGINE the tension on the lookout when Gohan is there.

Y'know, I just realized the brilliance of the muffin button being on Freeza's ship.

Goku's Capsule ship was presumably reverse-engineered, as in the original series, from the remnants of the space pods left behind by the Saiyans. They had the wreckage of Raditz's pod, and Nappa's pod which Bulma inadvertently blew up, to work with; I'm not counting the pod that brought baby Kakarot to Earth unless it gets specifically mentioned by TFS.

Since the muffin button is on Freeza's ship, I'm suggesting that it exists in the space pods as well, and that Dr. Brief included that system in the construction of the Capsule ship without fully understanding its purpose. He probably assumed the component was part of the life support system, or something along those lines. Goku probably expected the button to be there out of some genetic memory.

Anyway, that's my theory...

Imagine at the Cell Games when Gohan stays up there to "hang out" with Dende. Gohan would be scared shit-less!

It's totally how I imagine Goku actually speaking if he tried to sound more intelligent.

The Muffin Button and Nappa's fate had me absolutely laughing my arse off for the first time in a long time. Well done.
