But technically, for English-speaking countries he is a teenager if he is seventeen.

How is 9/10 a teen again?

In the developers defense, Cell arc Gohan does look kinda older than a 10 year old, especially when there are shots like this.



Though some before hand research would have prevented such confusion, leading me into believing Gohan was 13 at the Cell Games when I was young.

Anyway, after looking into movie 8, there was a scene where Trunks and Gohan both shoot Masenkos at Broly. Not much of an interaction but it was cool to see the two characters team up in a way. It kinda sucks as they both of my favorite characters, yet they barely interacted, though I guess you can say it was Vegeta shafted all of Trunks' attention.

But you're not Gohan, a shy and sheltered young man. Technically, you're a teenager until 20. Hence nineteen.

And yeah, Cell arc Gohan occasionally looks older than 10 in his "badass" scenes at the Cell Games. But Gokuu doesn't look as if he's even hit puberty when he's 15 at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai. Although FUNimation's English dub fucked that up too when they had Blooma say that she met Gokuu when he was five.
