Dragon Ball in Spain?
Hi, KanZenSHuuers.
From the 3rd of July to the 17th of July, I`m going to Calle Arenas de Bilbao, Playa de Palma in Spain.
I was wondering if there is any Dragon Ball stuff to buy there, or just general Anime shops, or if Dragon Ball, in any format, runs on television there? Also, not Dragon Ball related, but does Pokèmon run on television in Spain?

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
If you can get 3XL then you'll be able to watch Dragon Ball Zeta Kai, or .Neox which airs Crayon Shin-chan, Doraemon, and etc.
Cartoon Network, Disney XL (Pocket Monsters iirc) and Disney are also a great channels to check out, ah yes, Antena 3 tends to air The Simpsons dubbed in Castellano.
Zeta Kai is yet to show up dubbed in Castellano and I was told of it in 2011, it's a bit like the Ocean DB Kai, not out yet...

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
I think it airs on Cartoon Network, or Animax, nah not Animax, try CN then.
Animax broadcasts Air Gear, Kochikame, Saint Seiya, Mazinger Z, plus couple others too.

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
Cartoonito: Baby Looney Tunes, and other kiddy shows.
Cartoon Network: Doraemon, Shin-chan, Tom & Jerry, Flapjack, Adventures of Billy & Mandy, etc.
FOX: The Simpsons, American Dad, Family Guy
You can actually change the audio on Spanish channels if they have the option to and listen to them English or Japanese audio, I think it was Hello Kitty on Boomerage (now Cartoonito) that was in Japanese.
No trace of One Piece / Dragon Ball on CN in its schedule, what a shame.

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
Dragon Ball Kai has not been dubbed to Spanish yet, only Catalan. Both Dragon Ball Z and One Piece air on Boing in Spanish (I believe they are the only channels which air them), and I think that Naruto only airs on Animax.

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
Cataluña is in Spain, so it still counts, technically as Spanish.Saago wrote:Dragon Ball Kai has not been dubbed to Spanish yet, only Catalan. Both Dragon Ball Z and One Piece air on Boing in Spanish (I believe they are the only channels which air them), and I think that Naruto only airs on Animax.
I know the Spanish and Catalanes don't like each other very much, or so I've been told.

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
Catalonia is in Spain, yes, but Catalan and Spanish are two different languages, so it shouldn't be considered a Spanish dub (unless by "Spanish dub" you mean "any dub, no matter the language, which was recorded in Spain"). In fact, 3xl, the channel that airs Kai with the Catalan dub, is a local channel, so people outside Catalonia don't have access to it.

Re: Dragon Ball in Spain?
Kai ended months ago in 3XL. Then they began airing Dragon Ball, DBZ and GT. They will broadcast epidodes 148-149 of DBZ on 3XL at 9.35 pm
Monday to Sunday, 2 chapters everyday at 9.35 pm on 3XL. But unless you contract some kind of TV special service I don't think you can see any of the Catalonia's public TV channels outside of Catalonia's region (TV3, 33, Super3+3XL, Esport3, 3/24).
Super3 and 3XL share the same channel: 3XL beggins its broadcast at 9.30 pm and it's targeted to young audience, while Super3 focus their programmes to childs. So, if you find "Super3" that is the channel you are looking for.
