I wouldn't bet on it, since there's still a big, huge question mark as to whether or not they'll do the Buu saga.

Only if they get burned out before they reach it (dear kami, I hope not). I remember them tossing a comment on the podcast about having some jokes planned all the way to the Boo saga.

That was just me hoping for a GT Abridged where Popo is the catalyst for evil dragons

Well considering that they had voice actors for Goten and Boo for a while now, I think its safe to assume that their doing it.

I remember that Kaiser was interviewed a while back, and he said that it would take another three years to get through the Androids/Cell stuff, and that their personal lives might take precendence by then.

I just hope he sounds more masculine than Colleen did, Colleen's Gohan during the Cell Games still sounded girlie but she did modify the voice a bit.

Like I said before, it was a clear foreshadow, or at least, either they do GT or not, it was a nod to it.
The only other possibility is it being a giant coincidence.

I can't say it's bad, I just am not impressed thus far, like I usually am.

Obviously, my full judgment will have to wait. Even though King Cold will probably be in, like, one episode.

Just searched for "TFS King Cold" and watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bzr8D1RcDdI

I was pretty disappointed with the voice (sounded like Mr. Popo) but this probably isn't the final version, so nothing to worry about.

The vocal I had in mind was kind of a mix from the English Kai King Cold voice, FUNimation gave him an awesome voice for the time he lasted!

It sounded more like an imitation of Brad Jackson's King Cold to me.

I really don't see how it could be anything else, it was Jackson's Cold with a slightly higher, daintier pitch.
