The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Well let's not jump to conclusions just yet. there hasn't been any confirmation that they will be removing them yet. all we can do is pray they don't.DarkPrince_92 wrote:Really gonna miss the epic fight tracks. Budokai 3 had good ass fight tracks.

Hopefully its not like last time when he had to cross everything out when word got out it was a hoax like Sparking Omega. However, this seems more promising.samuraix123 wrote:Whenever VegettoEX puts it up on KanzenshuuInsertclevername wrote:Well, as long as they have the option to play custom music, for PS3 that is, I'm okay with the removal of songs, though it will suck. They reprinted Raging Blast 2 with replaced music, and AFAIK no one spotted Yamamoto lifting things in that game. There's no doubt the music in these games, which has been linked to other bands isn't being replaced for this release. I'd be shocked if it they left it in there.samuraix123 wrote:Well let's not jump to conclusions just yet. there hasn't been any confirmation that they will be removing them yet. all we can do is pray they don't.DarkPrince_92 wrote:Really gonna miss the epic fight tracks. Does anyone know if the Budokai Soundtrack CDs are still in print?
Speaking of which, if this game were to be put out in Japan what would it be called since they never had the 'Budokai' branding? Do you think it'd just be 'Dragon Ball Z' trilogy or something?
Oh, and on a somewhat related note, didn't Japan receive a box set containing the first three Budokai games? Had some nifty artwork if I recall correctly.

If you really love Budokai's soundtrack check out this album by Stratovarious:

Yamamoto pretty much borrowed his music from most of that album.

...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

That was pretty damn cool.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I actually started listening to it because of "Hunting High and Low" being the origin for "Challengers", and the album's a pretty good listen
I doubt Toei would even get involved with a re-release of some 10 year old games. (They probably wouldn't even remember if it used the Kikuchi score or not lol)
I think it's pretty naive to think that, when BT2's replacement music by itself gained quite a following. The Budokai series did as well, even more so since it was the same soundtrack all across its release.dbboxkaifan wrote:It's not like the majority of the fans of the games even remember what soundtrack it originally had, so they can replace, plus Toei Animation probably wants a change on it, so it's likely to happen.

Namco Bandai EU is conducting a live stream from Japan-Expo. It should be officially unveiled in a bit more than a half hour.
