and they thought adding budokai 1 insted of budokai tenkaichi 3 was a better idea because ?
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

What about Budokai 2?

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Hey, at least we get some nice looking cut scenes. Have they shown anything of the game yet? I kinda slept through this....

They showed a trailer with barely improved visuals. The music in the trailer was awful, and AFAIK was new.

Poor Budokai 2 got skipped =(
Also, i thought it'd have Burst Limit graphic rather than a bit lightened up characters <_>
Does DIMPS have anything to do with this game, or just Namco Bandai made it HD?

Well this is both mildly amusing and disappointing......at least its this winter.
*EDIT* Okay I just saw the trailer, what did they do to the theme music! Not to mention the character models look like they've been dropped in a bucket of grease!

Dragon Ball Z For Kinect
Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection
Darn, why did they put Budokai 1 instead of 2? Fuck, I wanted to play as Yamhan & Gotan.
Why would I want to play Budokai 1 over 2?

...I would actually rather 1 over 2.
But I only recently got 3 and played through that, I don't know if I want to go through unlocking everything again, saving up Zenie is so time consuming.

I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Both excited and disappointed, as usual with Namco's DB games. B1 and B3? Wow what a redundant and useless choice.
Don't get me wrong, I love these games but putting in B3 and BT3 would have been much more diverse and would certainly have pleased more fans than just those who like the Budokai games.
Still hoping for a comparable HD remaster of BT3.

BT3 off meds | The final fight
Ah, the Alpha and the Omega. As all life was created from Chaos...so shall it be DESTROYED!!!
The wails of machines | Singing cold harmony | Shifting air upward | Entranced by the breeze | Light pours like blood | Into a cosmic sea | Of stars crystallized | In a frozen symphony

So it's Budokai 1 + Budokai 3 no Budokai 2? Not the complete collection I was thinking of, hm.
The music is "new" but feels Sonic-ish, I like it, and the graphics looked a bit Burst Limit-ii.

Aren't HD collections almost only 3 games anyway? They must be either short on time or with a low budget.

Silent Hill HD Collection only had 2 games despite there being 5 Silent Hill games on PS2. However, given that's largely considered the worst HD re-release maybe we shouldn't compare ours to that.
Music sounded less awful in the actual Youtube trailer than on the live stream. I still don't like it.

Uhm...so they put Budokai 1 + Budokai 3...nice...but why they don't use INFINITE WORLD? I mean...in IW we got Super 17, Baby-Vegeta and GT Vegeta...and they are not in Budokai 3...

Hmm, they are using the remastered Heroes versions of the models in B3... interesting, but that's about the only thing.
Pass.
Pass.
Re: Possible HD collections??? (Read)
Dammit. I was really hoping for Tenkaichi 3 + Budokai 3 with a new pack of characters from Dragonball Heroes thrown in to Budokai 3, I know it's a lot to ask for but still...
