Infinite World was also a Budokai series game, but the title itself didn't feature "Budokai" anywhere.

Dimps Dragon Ball Games:

Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure
Dragon Ball: Evolution
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 1
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3
Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 1
Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2
Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit

Plus couple other titles I probably didn't list.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

How so? The only baffling thing here is the lack of Budokai 2, everything else I wanted was probably not possible. Saying that, can't wait till the inevitable 'Tenkaichi Collection' next year ;)

What did they screw up this time according to you?

The music? It was Yamamoto's so it was obviously going to get replaced, but it's easily fixed by playing off of a custom soundtrack list (USB/HDD).

Fair enough to them. Here's how it works:

Budokai - Still hailed as the best story representation and has cutscenes that blow all other Dragonball games out of the water.
Budokai 2 - Best what-ifs and a pretty cool story, very fun and has a lot of replay value
Budokai 3 - Best gameplay and graphics

So the exclusion of Budokai 2 is odd but nothing else.

The thing is, you can have the same experience of it in fucking YouTube. :|
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Maybe Bulma and Hoverchair Freeza will be both unlockable in this version without mods? No?

Judging from the menu, I guess there's no Online. :( That's a mistake. But I'm thankful it isn't Spike. Do you think they can add in extra characters?

I don't mind the music (it's obvious... Kenji Yamamoto) but the music used for the trailer wasn't too bad.

Is it just me or did it sound pretty similar to the old opening (bar vocals)?

It's nice to see the Heroes models in this clear of quality. I like that they have a smoother texture for the skins, it looks better than in B3. The outlines no longer appearing pixelated (are they anti-aliased now?) helps a great deal too.
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

It sucks that Budokai 2 is in not in the collection since I wanted to play through the story mode again and play with the other forms of Super Buu again. I had a feeling that they would do this since it been 10 years since Budokai was released in 2002 and the game was a huge success. I think IW is not in the collection because not many people liked that game?

Where did you grab the press release, so I have a place to source it? (I'm not on the European distro list, but I guess I should probably reach out to them since they're the ones that do all the hard work!)

I actually expected the Gamecube graphics for Budokai 1 for some reason. That's cool that it's using the original style.
I think I'll be buying assorted Dragon Ball things for the rest of my life.
