Why do people want Infinite World so badly? Last time I check, most people didn't liked that game and it had nothing new to ofter other then a few new characters and a weak story mode.

Maybe because they actually enjoyed the game? (?!?!?!?!) Just a thought.

Why exactly did people detest IW?

IW did have some fun mini-games like running on the Snake Road, collecting stars (or Dragon Balls), catching Bubbles..

Sort of disappointed that the Snake Road in IW is way too short (a million kilometres is far too much but adding a couple more of metres wouldn't have been a bad idea).

I definitely gotta agree this looks amazing. :D
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

That little gloss effect actually helps a lot with the old models. It makes them look smoother in motion. Budokai 3 definitely looks nice in HD(...through a camera on my PC). I'd like to see more official videos; also I just remembered how sluggish Budokai is going to be.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Wow, I didn't notice this news. A new soundtrack on Budokai 3 was predictable, but I'm surprised that they bothered to replace the entire soundtrack on Budokai. I once ripped the game to replace Yamamoto's soundtrack with Kikuchi's, but the streaming files were scattered as hell and I gave up. I guess replacing the music on Budokai was the hardest thing for them during porting the games.

I hope they don't use the Kai voices. Also this better be 40 bucks.

I don't believe they'd go through all the trouble of re-dubbing the games. :)

Is this coming out in Japan, or is the homeland missing out on both outings this year?
This release is kinda like Dragon Ball Kai Budokai. :P

It has yet to be announced for release in any other territory than Europe.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

How is it kinda like Dragon Ball Kai?

The voices aren't going to be FUNimation Kai dub, nor is the Japanese audio ones, so.. You talkin' about the music?

New music, glossier visuals, the removal of something significant. :P

Because it fixes Budokai 3's god awfully redundant story mode that you need to play through 22 times at least, it makes the capsule system into something half way competent after 3 games also none of that worthless Dragon Rush garbage. I'll leave beam struggles for those three things alone. I don't want to be THAT guy but I'm legitimately clueless why beam struggles and talking heads would take precedent over a capsule system that actually works.

Yeah, Infinite World was way more of an "I just want to play the actual fighting game that's a part of this game, and it made most of the improvements it needed from the last one!" rather than Budokai 3 and its "There's a pretty OK fighting game in here but there's also a ton of story stuff that's fun to do except when you have to play through it a gazillion times to unlock everything and holy crap this will be my third time doing so for this one game no thank you!"

Yeah, the only thing that makes me unsure about buying this collection is the vast amount of unlocking I'll have to do.

And level grinding my characters up to what they were in the old game. :P
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

To be honest, if they were to tweak the game in any way (which they aren't), it'd be nice if Dragon Rush was taken out. I thought that feature brought back the game for me, despite it being my favorite DBZ game to date.

Not sure if this video has been posted here: Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection: B3 Gameplay - Goku vs Gohan

Looks so damn nice and glossy in HD. :)

They really should've included Budokai 2 so it'd be a complete Budokai HD Collection (Budokai 1-3), and then the rest (IW-SDBZ-SB1&SB2).

No Budokai Tenkaichi / Raging Blast (Spike DBZ) this year. Yay! :)
