It's not that Kikuchi's music is bad, at least not for me. Kikuchi's music is an absolute classic and I love it.

However, Kai was not intended to have it originally, it was intended to have Yamamoto's. What really shows is that, Yamamoto's tracks were arranged and picked well. The tracks fit the scenes in question perfectly IMO. However, once the Music scandal happened and the Kikuchi music had to be hastily put in, that's where the problem comes from. It doesn't feel like it was put in with any real care. Like it was just thrown in last minute to get music in there. The music selections just come off as bad to me. They picked completely the wrong tracks for the wrong parts.

With all due respect, bullshit. Before the scandal, everybody kept yammering about how Nagasaki sucked and he kept reusing the same tracks over and over again. And suddenly, after the scandal, the old OST is magically 'arranged and picked well.'

Hypocrisy at its finest.

If I may state for the record, this does not apply to me. :P Nagasaki's original selection was not very good. Too much music, too often, terrible selection, and sixty-percent of the music was terrible in general. That being said, it's the score and selection of the series and I will not buy any release with a replacement.

The Yamamoto score still had far more variety than the replacement soundtrack did.

I only bought DBZK Parts 5-8 just to complete the damn collection or else I wouldn't have bothered.

Aye aye aye, Madman NZ's release date - 13/09/12

Screw that, I'm importing from Madman AUS since they're literally the same thing.

If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Dammit Sabat, if you can sing the ending to School Rumble why can't you sing Dragon Soul?! (/humor)
Sabat sung what now? Vids or it didn't happen.

Just searched for "school rumble chris sabat" and this came up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fc3KQh8o7Zw

Meh, it's all OK. /imo

Reason is, I don't like Sabat's voice as Vejita which is what he sounds very similar to in this video, his Yamucha is cool, though.

Dang it, now I want to hear Sabat sing an English version of Saiyan Blood.

Not that I didn't already, but...

Still no word of a Walmart two-pack. Looks like I'll be getting the individual parts.

That's how his singing voice sounds like?! It really is a shame he didn't sing any of the dragon souls. He would have made them more enjoyable.

Not everybody thought that. I for one had been telling people that the tracks weren't nearly as overly used as they were saying. Go watch the Namek arc in DBZ and you'll hear some of the same songs each and every episode. :p
