I suppose Namco Bandai will eventually start to upload gameplay videos / more trailers of Dragon Ball Z Budokai: HD Collection on their YouTube channel, for promotional purposes, of course.

Not quite sure of what Namco Bandai is thinking to be including Budokai Tenkaichi 3's OST in this new HD Collection, but OK, as long as they allow the fans on PS3 the custom soundtrack feature it's all right, I guess. :|

1. The Meteor
2. Innocent World
3. After the Fire
4. Heat Capacity
5. Edge of Spirit
7. Wild Rush

From 20 tracks of BT3's OST I actually only liked 7 of them (plus the Japanese theme song), as for BT2's OST I'd say the entire soundtrack 'cos it's pretty awesome. ^__^

I can easily imagine people starting bitching about the music after some official gameplay clips come out.

Ah man, I can see it, too. Look at Goku's hair in the first shot.

But otherwise I do like this; the brightened B3 models, keeping the aspect ratio on the menus and health bars, and B1 look raw like any game of it's type should at anything significantly above 480p. If it even did support 480p...

I would think everyone on the forum here would be expecting it, just because we've thrown around so many "Lol Yammamoto's" that we were expecting a swap before we knew anything.

It's actually already happening. :P
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I would hope for some music like "Kiseki no Honoo yo Moeagare" I really enjoyed it in Burst Limit, does anyone know who composed it by the way? I know Hironobu Kageyama sung the song but I am unsure if he just sung it or composed it as well.

It'll probably get worse and if the PS3 version is locked to the game music only, i.e, not allowing the gamer to choose a custom soundtrack there's going to be unhappy fans.

Still hoping they'll release Budokai 1 uncut version than the censored one.

Oh, that's whom I was referring. I brought it up in my comment on the collection on the front page.

I'm kind of OCD'ing over the fact that this collection misses out Budokai 2.

I wonder if the Japanese version of the game will feature the shows OST, just like the Sparking! games did? I might just import that, if thats the case. I kinda want to do it with Raging Blast 2 but since this game is newer, I'll just settle with that.

I see some people in this thread hoping for more HD collections but I highly doubt it. I think this will be the only HD collection that we are likely getting. Adding B2 and IW into collection seems like a waste since most fans didn't like those two games. I hope Bandai will waste money putting B2 and IW into one disc.

I brought this point up before somewhere else that the developers probably only included 2 games in the HD collection so that later down the line, should this HD collection prove to sell well, they can easily do another HD collection with B2 and IW. By splitting it up into two different HD collection releases they can squeeze more money out of us, I doubt many people would pay £60 for 4 HD DBZ titles. So splitting B1 + B3 into a package and selling it for £30 and then B2 + IW into another package and selling that for £30 makes more logical sense.

I also think this. They left the 2 in Budokai 2 for DBZ Budokai HD 2

Angry Birds Trilogy for Xbox 360, PS3 and Nintendo 3DS are going to sell for $40 = €32 / £25, so DBZ Budokai HD Collection is going for how much? $30 (€32 / £24) this is a much better game and worth than a piece of crap that's free on Android devices.

http://www.trustedreviews.com/news/angr ... s3-release

The sad truth is that people are going to spend $40 on this overpriced mobile phone games' on home consoles.

If they released Budokai I, Budokai II, Budokai III - HD Collection wouldn't it have cost like $40?

As for DBZ Budokai HD Collection 2 they could throw in IW, Shin Budokai I, Shin Budokai II and Advanced Adventure (bonus game).

Angry Birds Collection? (facepalm) Hmm, $40 for the trilogy on my PS3, or $3 for it on my phone... decisions, decisions...

They are free on Android.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
