Okay, listen.

It's not an imitation of anyone. It's just a high, pompous, flutterly male voice. It's not supposed to sound serious at all. If you were looking for Gouri, you've made a mistake. XD

I myself just figured, based more on the line than the voice though, that Cold's whole thing is gonna be a continuation of the 'Daddy's little princess' line of jokes for Freeza. Which could prove hilarious.

Wasn't expecting Gouri, but I wasn't expecting him to sound like he got kicked in the Gotens, or castrated, either. =P

It's not bad, I just wish it'd have been deepened a notch or two.

I also really enjoyed the Muffin Button discussion on the podcast. X3
I can't wait to see what they do with the Garlic Jr arc.

You've heard one fucking line, and it's meant to be a joke. Why are people complaining about minor shit like this?

Pretty much. Our opinions are valid. The episode is out there and it's subject to criticism from the fandom. Regardless of if it was meant to be a joke or not, all it takes is one line. First impressions are a bitch.

FINALLY saw the bonus clip! I couldn't download the whole ep from the site due to my slow internet and had to wait for someone to upload it on YT.

Anyway, Freeza's big No made me do this:

Yeah, but it's petty, and it's not even that bad. You're just jumping to conclusions, and it actually might turn out to be hilarious when it's tied in with future jokes. Like what people did when they first heard Chris Ayres as Freeza in Kai because he still sounded slightly feminine like the previous English Freezas, and look how that turned out.

Fandoms are a bitch.

Yes, but everything in a fandom is generally petty. Most of the discussions on this forum are insignificant when you think about it. Why can't we just read/watch the series and enjoy it exactly as it is? Why do we have to nitpick over character powers? Art discrepancies and errors? Voice actor performances? Music placement and replacement? The list goes on. But there is a wide variety of fans from across the globe that enjoy the series with different preferences and views, which leads to different interpretations, which leads to discussions and debates...which is the reason this forum exists and continues to thrive in the first place, is it not?

Right now I don't like the voice. Could that change down the line? Sure. But I'm voicing my opinion now, based off the released material. The same thing everyone does for everything in life: movies, books, tv shows, action figures, and even food on a fucking restaurant menu. Opinions are always formed off of first impressions, like it or not, and right now we have nothing more to warrant a reevaluation. It might be petty to you, but the fact remains that its still just a simple opinion; a statement that pretty much everyone here has blown way out of proportion, much more so than was ever necessary.

OK then, fair enough. I was just surprised at the amount of people who shared this opinion, when I merely thought, "Huh. Sounds a bit odd, but whatever."

Guys, I have to congratulate you for getting through the entire Freeza fight so well. Re-watching the series from scratch from last year, I felt that the latter half of the Freeza arc is by far the "chunkiest" part of Dragon Ball. During the rest of the series, the narrative's progression is seamless. This is why I only prefer "Kai" when watching Goku vs. Freeza (they did a fantastic job with that). We're at the start of the Buu arc and I am thrilled at how much I'm enjoying the series after not having seen it for two years. I think you'll have so much wonderful material to work with, especially during the Cell and final Buu arc.

Congrats and thanks again for all of your work. I actually got three of my students hooked on Abriged (Grade 8's) and they loved it.

I enjoy Team Four Star cameo in the newest Nostalgia Critic episode of Baby Geniuses 2. I won't mind if they did a collaboration with the other producers to review something Dragon Ball related. Linkara and JewWario join Suede to review the Pokemon movies. So maybe they can review all of the DBZ movies with someone like Phelous since I know that he is a Dragon Ball fan.

I'm looking on That Guy with the Glasses site now but its not on there.

Also, Doug Walker (NC) has said he hates Dragon Ball so it would be a nice dynamic if TFS did a review with him on Dragon Ball stuff.

In the Evolution review (not his own but he makes a cameo towards the end and says it). Lemme try and find it.

Its near the end, also MasakoX is in this.

It's on his Blip account, he uploads it early before he puts it's on his main site.

It was nice to see Team Four having a cameo. I don't expect Doug to team up with them to review DBE but they could team up with the other anime producers on the site though.

Great job on the season 2 finale Kaiser the argument bettween Yamcha and Bulma still has me in stiches :P, now that Season 2 is done there are some things I've been wondering about, if TFS does decide to do the Garlic Jr arc (which seems to be likely right now), I'm wondering if you guys are also going to include the Marron (sorry if I spelled it wrong) pisses Chi Chi off scene as well, I'm also wondering when the time comes if TFS plans on doing the driving episode (yes I know it's filler but think about it for a moment, if you guys were to take something that's already funny enough on its own and add your own creative twist on it, then TFS could have one of if not the funniest episode in the entire abridged series).
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).
