Seriously, Raditz's forehead...
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
He occasionally rents it out as advertising space.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Clearly Raditz, in this universe, is only half-Saiyan as well. He's also half Conehead.
I loved that movie.
He doesn't look as bad in the last panel, due to the angle, but...there's something about his smirk...that I find hilarious.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
He probably just landed in the middle of nowhere. I doubt that area was destroyed by Kakarotto fighting whoever...
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Their heads are generally too big in this special. It seems to be an artist tendency which I used to suffer from as well.
Tien's clothes. I mean really he's supposed to represent some kind of monk. He would be the LAST z warrior to go around and wear pedestrian clothes.

Another space pod lands... On Raddit'z forehead. A tiny saiyan pops out with a tiny large saiyan forehead.

I don't like it either, but perhaps, I dunno, his clothes got burned up when fighting Kakarotto and he had to resert to wearing pedestrian clothes.TRL wrote:Tenshinhan's clothes. Lol I think dbz guys have more than 1 set of clothes. I could see Yamcha wearing it, but not Tien. He's not the city type. And since he exist in this universe, he should have the same personality, tendencies, it's in his DNA. Nurture only does so much.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse

Maybe it's just me, but I find the arrows used to explain the panel order a bit distracting. I feel most people could have figured that tiny little part on their own.

Yea, the arrows are unnecessary.
Let's see how they react to seeing Raditz!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Just imagine the order you would see the panels without the arrows. Not that much unnecessary I would say.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Judging by what's happening in the panels, I don't think it would be that difficult to know what's next. I can see why they added them, but still...

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Exactly. I can get why they're there, but it just doesn't seem particularly necessary in this case. I guess if they didn't though, they'd have people complaining still yet that they had a weird panel order at the top with no note about it though...so maybe it's just covering their butts basically.dprez wrote:Judging by what's happening in the panels, I don't think it would be that difficult to know what's next. I wonder if Yamucha was trained by Muten-Roshi...
