Not really, sounds to me like he's stating a fact. We're going to have to wait and "[They] Can't spoil anything though.."

And can you guys stop quoting the huge ass image? Seriously, there's no point in doing that and it's annoying. Also it will affect people who have a slow connection.

What huge ass image? *I think someone still uses AOL with dial up xD*

Anyways, anyone happen to find the video of this yet?

It's a valid request, though. Why would we not extend the same courtesy to everyone, including those who may in fact be on slow connections? O_o

I agree with Li'l Lemmy. At the very least it would help to take out the image tags when quoting it so all that appears is a link.
On hiatus.

Precisely. It's not that I have a slow connection, I was thinking of others. For me it's just the annoyance. And the fact that I've got a small screen, which itself adds to the annoyance. There was no need to be a smart-ass about it. I've been talking about this in other threads as well. There is no point in quoting the full image. It is very annoying to get an email reply only to visit the topic and realize it's a huge quote with a single sentence at the bottom.

I went and edited all the image quoting from the past few pages. Please cut that out in the future. Not everyone uses a desktop PC with a giant monitor over high end broadband, and you definitely shouldn't mock them for it.

And frankly, it looks ridiculous whenever a quote is larger than your reply to it. Switching the img tags to url makes your post look so much nicer.

Is there a translation on the text from the videoscreen?

It's just the same tagline for the movie they've been using everywhere. "The strongest is starting up."

Come on now internet, that trailer was shown days ago; let's get that thing online. Was there a detailed description of it from anyone there?

They said it was a quick trailer. Knowing Japan and half their commercials, maybe it was only like 15 seconds long. Probably already saw the whole thing with just those two images; likely involving some sort of transition effect for Goku's face and the tagline, then the DBZ logo and some Dragon Balls flying by (with the one star stopping in the logo), and finally the date at the end.
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

As I saw lot of Japanese quick trailers, this is probably that logo with some text animated and then it goes to that screen with Goku again animated or with some effects, but that Goku image is a still.
Because they are in pre-production now from what we heard, or so I assume. So outside of maybe some character designs,
they still didn't start to work in animation department.

I think we will get something more solid in fall or maybe at the beginning of the next year. But I bet for fall.

PS: Do you think this movie will be done at Phillippines as the last two Specials? (Plan and Bardock)
Was the Jump Fiesta Special also done at Phillippines? I don't remember....

Are you talking about animation outsourcing? Is that where Toei sends it?

Also, yeah, I'm not expecting much from this preview. The trailers will probably get longer and more revealing as the release date draws near. Right now, a few images is all we'll get most likely.

There is a branch of TOEI, so it's not outsourced, only that it's situated outside of Japan and locals work there. Don't know why on Phillippines tough. BTW. it's where the Wasted Wisher is/ or rather was working and sending us inside sources.
It's where The Plan to Destroy The Super Saiyans, Episode of Bardock, UT cutscenes and Dragon Ball Heroes ads are made.

Typically, at the most, Toei will only have Toei Phils. do in-betweening, although sometimes they'll also do key animation. Still, they always include Japanese animators on these more recent Dragon Ball productions. Check the Movie Guide on Kanzenshuu. The credits for the recent specials are up. Episode of Bardock only used Japanese key animators, three of them being veteran Dragon Ball animators. Oonishi Ryou also made his Dragon Ball debut with Super Saiyan Bardock versus Chilled. Man, I hope he's working on this new movie!

For Super Saiya-jin Zetsumetsu Keikaku, seventeen of the Second Key Animators were from Toei Phils. All five in-betweeners were from Toei Phils, though.

I don't think the trailer will be uploaded on the web even if it's a short trailer. I guess by November or December that we will likely see a full trailer.

It'll probably turn up on the website within the next few weeks.
