Budokai 3 audio and code questions!

Post by Insertclevername » Thu Jul 19, 2012 5:40 pm

So I recently ordered Budokai 3 Greatest hits on Ebay to replace my scratchy old, original version. I select my save file and go to options to select the Japanese voice cast but the option isn't to be found! Then I go to Dragon Arena to place in thecodes for the alternate costumes but that doesn't work either. So I restart, now with out a memory card and I still can't find the JPN voices (the codes can't be put in since you need to unlock DA.)! Before anyone asks, the disk and box both indicate that they are indeed the Greatest hits edition (he box even boasts about the JPN voice track). So can anyone help?

Can anybody please post a picture of their Greatest Hits disk to help me confirm my copy?

There was actually a giant misprint with the original run of the "Greatest Hits" version that ended up being the original version printed on the disc. Sadly, it sounds like you ended up with one of those.

Couldn't he ask for new copy or something, since that's not the product it was meant to be?

Well I got it off Ebay and there doesn't seem to be any more Greatest hits anywhere else. There is this but I don't have a JPN PS2 or a the old gen PS3. It's fine though, atleast I have a less broken copy of Budokai 3 now....with new boxart!!.....yeeaah?

Dude the same thing happened to me. Since I'm hoping the HD Remake features online, myself and all my buddies have pulled out copies of Budokai 3. I went to gamestop, saw the greatest hits, bought it, and there is no japanese audio option in the menu. I was thinking about going to buy another in hopes, but ill just wait for the dang online release.

I hate to break it to you, but I don't think they are adding online to the HD collection. There was no PSN or Live logo and no official announcement.... :(
