Nice haul by the way!
Not that I know of. I got this one from Yahoo Auctions. It was 2000yen (instead of its 480 price) but it was still unopened and with all its extras. You can probably still find some there, but I can't guarantee that they'll have the DVD :S
And thanks! :D

This came in the mail the other day. I now own both 4:3 versions of the two tv specials. Compared to the Double Feature, it has more grain (which I like), and is a little darker. The subs on the double feature, although the same, have different fonts. The subtitle font on the DF is slightly easier to read, but it really makes no difference. Watching it in full screen is much better imo.

The DF does seam to have slightly more detail, but I only have to adjust the brightness settings when watching the single to see what I can see on the DF.

Picked up the Dragon Box vol 3 to complete my Dragon box set!

Thank you so much to everyone that helped me out on these forums! Was able to find all 7 Dragon box's within 2 weeks for retail or cheaper!

Now let's just hope funimation decides to release more dragon box sets! (*cough, cough* Dragonball!)

I bought the 'Cell Games Starter Set' from an Amazon Marketplace seller, after they said "Please Note: This contains all 9 Cell Games DVDs, not the 2 as listed on Amazon".

So it arrived today, with 9 DVDs, but only 6 are from the Cell Games, the other three are one GT DVD, an Edited Cooler movie, and Bio Brolly. Gutted, $US40+ shipping. Not sure how I am going to get this fixed by the seller..

Just placed my order for Dragon Ball: Complete Collection Movie 4 Pack (new), Dragon Ball GT: The Complete Series (new), and the Pioneer movie boxed set of the first three movies. The Ocean dub is gonna be so fun to watch for the first time in so many years. I can't wait for all this to arrive. :D

I haven't got them in the mail yet but I got the first 3 Pioneer movies from Tanooki Kuribo. I'm so excited for them :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Just bought Dragon Ball GT the complete series Green Brick set from walmart, quick question does this set have the english dub with the Menza score as an optional audio track or is it only the english dub with japanese music and the japanese audio?
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).

Yes, but without an option of seeing the old FUNi Opening (the rap) or Ending.

EDIT (to be more clear):

Yes, the Complete Series set DOES contain the Menza audio track.

I got DB Viz Big vol. 5 in the mail last week and Prince Vegeta came in today.

Finally collected all the Dragon Ball Viz Big volumes, now I can move on to the DBZ mangas.

I purchased this, on a hope, that it included the English track (after hearing about it on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqqUtoOp7uE).. it arrived today, but it only has Spanish, and it's in Widescreen 16x9. I bought from a MarketPlace seller, but it was brand new, still sealed, and it looks legit. No DVD menu though, after the opening production credits, it just starts to play.

Pretty disappointed, thought i might have got something good to help flush out my 4:3 collection.

Has anyone else bought this before? was your version in English and 4:3?

I was thinking of buying that DVD from looking at that same Youtube comment but I had doubts. Looks like they were confirmed.

No, the Spanish release went at least one volume further (possibly two; I forget exactly) before it was also canceled -- we covered these releases briefly when they were first popping up online.

They have nothing to do with an English 4:3 release other than using the same cover art and titles as corresponding "Ultimate Uncut Edition" releases (which, granted, is enough grounds for confusion).
