He hasn't appeared in Dragon Ball Heroes yet.NeoKING wrote:Isn't there Golden Ohzaru Baby?TheDevilsCorpse wrote:He seems kind of like an odd choice for GT representation, but it's almost as if they are representing the game's trinity in the background; Z, GT, Movies. James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

As DBZGTKOSDH said, he hasn't been included yet. We've only just had the first form of Bebi Vegeta as a secret card. Maybe he'll appear as a boss with the next set of cards, GM4, or if my guess is correct (though I don't want it to be), maybe in GM6.NeoKING wrote:Isn't there Golden Ohzaru Baby?

That's ... odd. Seeing how he's usually included in nearly every game that has GT material.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission for 3DS
I'm sure he's in, they just aren't there yet. No reason for the 3DS one to show off characters that aren't officially revealed. We haven't reached Bebi Vegeta's second form, SS3 Goku or SS4 Goku, we're still at the left form of Bebi with the right form being "hidden/secret":NeoKING wrote:That's ... odd. Those screens look great but sadly can't say "I can't wait" due to the region matter.

Who are the two characters on the right side of of the third image, in front of Burter?
And is it Ultimate Gohan or Future Gohan on that same image?

I see Super Saiyan Bardock, Nail, Burter, Super Saiyan Goku, Evil Buu, King Cold, Guldo and Future Gohan. There're two characters I can't recognize.JeffJarrett wrote:Who are the two characters on the right side of of the third image, in front of Burter?

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission for 3DS
The character in the front left is Trunks, the character in the far right I have no clue but the colour scheme reminds me of Amond. And the character in the far front row... Must be Ultimate Gohan because Future Gohan is not in the game yet.

It's Future Trunks in front of Nail. Thanks for Evil Buu!FlpShimizu wrote:There're two characters I can't recognize.
Future Gohan is not in the arcade version, his introduction in the 3DS version is surprising if it's really him.
He seems too thin to be Amond, and his clothes don't seem to be exactly like in the movie. I thought it was Lord Slug (he seems to have a helmet), but the character wears what appears to be a white armor.

Does anyone has another idea who the character next to Guldo is?

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission for 3DS
Future Trunks, Nail, SS(2?) Goku, Butta, Pure Evil Buu, SS Bardock, Cold, Gurd, Slug, and most likely Ultimate Gohan...though his Future incarnation is a possibility; hair looks a little short and the front too thick for a single bang, as well as his sleeves seeming longer than normal. His belt could clear it up, but the angle makes it seem like he doesn't even have one. xD
As I said; Slug. Regardless of how the distorted model makes him look, it IS Slug. Same exact outfit, pretty much impossible to confuse with anyone else, even with a color slightly off.

I disagree. They're a big downgrade from the way it looks on the arcade machine, and in some ways the models look worse than they did when they appeared on PS2.

They're fine. They look about on par with the Shin Budokai versions of the models, plus they're going to be on like a 3 inch screen...Super Saiyan Prime wrote:I disagree. On a side note: For what it's worth, Japanese rumor mill seems to be that GM4 will cover up to SS3 Goku and Super Bebi Vegeta 2 for GT, and Movie 3's characters along with SS Tullece as the SEC Rare.

I wasn't thinking of the original arcade machine version just the 3DS itself, and besides, it's not the graphics that makes the game enjoyable but the game itself. Graphics do help, though.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:I disagree. Super Mario Bros / Sonic the Hedgehog by today's standard its graphics are awful, but they're classics that anyone picks up and play.

That's the problem. 3DS is more capable than a PSP, and the Shin Budokai games already look dated compared to later games on that platform.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:They're fine. I don't think they look that bad. If we get bigger scans then maybe they will look better in HQ.

Bigger scans will make the game look worse unless Namco Bandai releases screenshots that are in a higher resolution with AA, and more (this is known as a "bullshot" - a screenshot that isn't actually indicative of the game at all). The screenshots I ripped from the site are 3DS's native resolution. That is how the game will look on it.Hellspawn28 wrote:I don't think they look that bad. Ignore him, he's a Vita fanboy. But sadly he can't reply anything against it's poor sales and how Vita is badly handled by Sony right now.Hellspawn28 wrote:I don't think they look that bad. If we get bigger scans then maybe they will look better in HQ.
These are just screenshots, the game is obviously still in production and a lot can change until release. Did you perhaps saw Final Bout's first scans, Super Saiyan Prime? The finished product didn't looked at all like the first screenshots.
And afterall, this is the best Dragon Ball game that we know is in production, because the other two are just poor attempts at "improving" UT and Budokai 1/2 respectively.
Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission is something new for these who never played the arcade machines, like me.

Really? You're gonna toss a dismissive term like "fanboy" out there with regard to supposed console-company-favoritism, instead of actually addressing the concerns and legitimate justifications raised?
C'mon, bud. Let's not. Please remember where it is you are -- we expect more of everyone.
