I've got the rest of my Viz books lying around somewhere and others I loaned out. Please disregard the comics(and my autographed Jake Delhomme jersey) being as they are not DBZ related but it's where I keep them.
I'm a DB veteran thats paid my DB dues!!

I suspect it's the “Special Selection DVD", had no idea the border is essentially a frame.

If you're following me on Twitter you've probably seen these pics. But it's been a while since I last showed off my Dragon Ball crap on here. At one point I had every Dragon Ball related DVD FUNimation has put out. But, recently I've sold off my DVD singles, the "season" sets, Ultimate Uncut set, FUNimation Spanish DVDs, and all the versions of the DBZ movies I've had. The only things I've kept are these things below.

Image

I should first mention that this book shelf is in my computer room\den\white room\I don't know what to call it. I try to keep this kinda stuff away from the living room. I feel this way I can put out my stupid figures out and not worry what people think about a 31 year man and his Super Mario figures.

Image

I don't think I'll ever get rid of my old Pioneer\FUNimation\Ocean dub DVDs. Also, I kept the Ginyu and Trunks DVDs because, well I think it just captures a certain time in DragonBall history here in America, and I just wanted to preserve that. I don't know if that sounds weird but, yea. Also, I kept that "Majin Boo" DVD because it contains the first 3 episode I've ever seen in Japanese back in the late 90's. Ironically, this DVD has the same three episodes that the VHS fan-sub tape had. I couldn't sell that!

Image

I'm not a huge DragonBall (original series) fan. I love the Pilaf and Piccolo arc and kinda hate everything in the middle. But I really like the movies. I think I may like the movies a bit more than the series. I had the box for the DB movies but, at one point I put all my DB related DVDs in a CD book since I had so many. I kept the paper covers just in case I ever wanted to put the DVDs on a shelf some day. Well that day came. At the time I just tossed the boxes. :\

Also, if you're wondering why I have two DragonBall Z Kai: Season One on Blu-ray. It's because one has the original Kai soundtrack while the other has the replacement score.

Image

I even have the old Pioneer VHS tapes. Just for nostalgia. The guy coulda sold me black tapes and I'd never know.

Image

The only DragonBall things I have in my living room are books. I have no aspiration to collect all the Daizenshuu books. I'm very happy with the ones I have.

When I was in Santiago, Chile in 97, I went to a few shops and saw some pretty rare cards that had DBZ artwork on them that I've never seen on the internet or anywhere else. A lot of the stuff was bootleg, but I'm pretty sure the illustrations themselves were legit.

LordCrumb is a fine example, he's showed that he's pretty much has the entire complete Z series on DVD so in cases like these allowing others who don't have nothing should be offered a chance.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

That's too bad but I feel you, the only two friends I have that are deep into Dragon Ball are in the North Island while I'm down South. I do have one other in course but he's been mostly watching Kai.

Anyway, it's been about two years since I last posted my 'crap' , so I may as well update it:

Main bookcase:

Image

-DB Collections 1-11 (Madman)
-DB Movie Pack (Madman)
-DBZ: Dragon Box Volumes 1-7
-DBZ: Steelbook Double Features 1-7
-DBGT Volumes 1-20 (Mix of Madman and US)

Blu-ray:

Image

-DBZ Level 1.1 and 1.2 (Madman)
-DBZ Broli Double Feature (Test release before all movies came out)
-DB Kai Collection/Parts 1-3 (Madman)

DB stuff in my wardrobe:

Image
Image
Image

-DB 'Blue Brick' Season 1
-DB: Saga of Goku (BLT Ocean Dub)
-DBZ 'Orange Brick' Seasons 1-3 (Madman)
-DBZ Vegeta Saga UUE 1.6
-DBZ Volumes 1.1 - 1.17 (Ocean/1996 FUNi/Saban Dub) (Madman) (1.5 to 1.8 are temp covers till I can get better ones)
-DBZ Volumes 2.1 - 5.17 (Madman)
-DBZ: First Strike (UUE Movie 1-3)
-DBZ UUE Movie 1: Dead Zone (Madman)
-DBZ Movies 1-3 (Ocean Dub) (Madman)
-DBZ Movies 4-13 (Madman)
-DBZ TV Specials 1-2

outside DVD/Blu-ray, I barely own any other DB stuff, but since this is one of my most precious items, here it is:

Image

-Dragon Book from the Japanese Dragon Box Z Vol. 1 set (thanks to AnimeMaakuo :D )

^ Nice one dude!

I really like the individual Dragon Ball DVDs, and wish I had those instead of the fat packs as the cover art is really nice on each one.

The individual Dragon Ball Z dvds look pretty good all lined up like that! I see you have most of the american releases rather than the Aussie/NZ ones.. I did the same as some of the earlier AUS releases didn't include the Japanese audio (not sure why). The downside to the American releases is no numbering on the spines :( But then you do avoid our crappy Ratings logos/stickers, so they both have a pro and con.

I really need to get Kai Blu-Ray Collection 3 before it goes OOP over here.. maybe next week if things work out. I just got a whole lot more DBZ dvds coming from America so I've spent a lot of money on them already lately..

Thanks.

I wish but outside 2.2 and a couple Great Saiyaman discs, they're all actually Madman unfortunately. The ones I got didn't come with covers for some reason so I had to print them out ( Was a bit harsh on my printing credit at course), but I don't care about that to be honest as I already have a better Japanese version via Dragon Box. I got the discs originally for the Ocean Dub 108-276 remaster but I only ended up getting an episode or two into Perfect Cell before cancelling.

Hopefully my brother who is closer to a JB Hi-Fi can check my suspictions on DB Kai Collection 4 Blu-ray if it contains the Yamamoto score or not. My only clue without looking at the discs is to see if it says Region A, B since Madman tend to make their authors only region B.

Well if you ever want to do any trades / sales or anything, get in touch eh, would be cool to know a local DBZ fan is around.
