If that's the case the spell wouldn't work on Goten or Gohan either.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

C'mon, who doesn't want to see Kid Vegeta berating a Kid Goku for messing up about something which made them turn into kids in the first place? And Kid Gohan and a Kid Piccolo would be a serious "awwww!" type of thing.

If Goku created his technique, Super Dragon Fist in Movie 13, then why not Vegeta create his new technique in the new movie? Vegeta would make his new technique stronger than his Final Flash or something.

I hope we get too see what everyone has been doing up until the start of the movie. I also hope the movie takes place three years after Boo so we can maybe see some Tenkaichi Budokai action. I really miss when the Tenkaichi Budokai was cool.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Nitpicking here, but I don't believe Bio-Broli even said a word (or more than one word) in #11. To be honest, I barely even class him as Broli in that film; he's more like a B-movie sludge monster with a couple locks of Super Saiyan hair.Chuquita wrote:I wouldn't want him just running around screaming "Kakarrotto!" all the time like he did in 10 and 11.

I don't think Bardock was really in space, but in the higher parts of Vegeta's atmosphere. We'd die because of the fact that the air is so thin, but there might be a small part of oxygen in the air.

In regards to his post. Bardock was seen to be very high in the atmosphere, maybe likely between the mesophere and Ionosphere. If its anything like our planet then it would lack 02 and comprise primarily of 03, which he would not be able to breath in the first pace. So yeah saiyans can survive all right without oxygen for a while.dbgtFO wrote:What does that have to do with his post?shonenhikada wrote:sonikku956 wrote: I don't think Bardock was really in space, but in the higher parts of Vegeta's atmosphere. I thought he said "Kakarrotto" at least at the very end when they were destroying him, but anyway my main point is that I want a bad guy who can at least converse with others like a normal person. It doesn't even have to be an overly super-intelligent bad guy. I just find mindless villains boring because they never say anything; in doing so it takes away some potential for conflict with the heroes, which is how I found movie 10 Brolli.Piccolo Daimao wrote:Nitpicking here, but I don't believe Bio-Broli even said a word (or more than one word) in #11. While I didn't find movie 11 awful, it's not something I'd ever go back and watch. It's nice that it gave other characters a turn to shine (Kuririn, Mark, 18, child Trunks, and Goten) but none of those favorites of mine; I like the 5 of them ok, but I totally care more about what Goku, Vegeta, and Piccolo are up to.

That's why we need angels. Angels have intellect and clear motives in their actions.Chuquita wrote:I thought he said "Kakarrotto" at least at the very end when they were destroying him, but anyway my main point is that I want a bad guy who can at least converse with others like a normal person. Re: Mystery Jump Countdown: New DB Movie Confirmed!
Disagreed. You can have intelligent characters with clear motives without them being angels. If you're speaking of antagonists, Cell's a prime example, arguably Freeza as well. If you're speaking of protagonists, well, I think most of the heroes in DB; Gohan, Piccolo, Bulma. Them being angels is irrelevant. Also, as was mentioned earlier in the thread, the DB afterlife is more Buddhist in nature so you wouldn't have angels there anyway. I could understand if we hadn't already seen the DB afterlife numerous times already and they hadn't established what it's like, but we have. I'd rather pull from the typical "outer space villain" idea before pulling from something of religious origin that's got all kinds of land mines attached to it.

I address the angel and Buddhist belief in dragon ball last page. Angels are equivalent to devas in that religion so that's not a problem to add them into dragon ball.

Re: Mystery Jump Countdown: New DB Movie Confirmed!
Movie 11 to me was awful since it feel so pointless and unnecessary. The movie just feel like a bad fan fiction and they could have done something much better instead of just bring back a character that they just killed off a few months earlier. Not to mention the characters feel out of character to me and the humor was unfunny (Like Trunks mooning). I doubt this movie will be worst then Movie 11, 2 and 4 since those are the weakest DBZ movies in my opinion.

I would love to see that. Too reminiscent of GT though... Although if ALL adults get transformed and their minds erased too, then we would be in for some amazing situations. 5 year old Vegeta was already a little killer... Goku patting people left and right. Bulma demanding strawberries. but we would be back to "Is up to Goten and Trunks to solve this problem".
Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"
Re: Mystery Jump Countdown: New DB Movie Confirmed!
Child Goku would drive child Vegeta even crazier than the two do as adults just because of how much more pronounced Goku's "Gokuness" is when he's little. XD

Re: Mystery Jump Countdown: New DB Movie Confirmed!
Why are we rehashing old plots, and GT plots for this movie instead of having new elements that they haven't done before into the movie ?
Re: Mystery Jump Countdown: New DB Movie Confirmed!
We are just speculating, shonenhikada. Nothing here is in stone. Besides, most DBZ movies do have a "recipe".
I would love for it to be a mini arc over several days like Movie 12.
More speculation: A Tarble appearance. lol

Yes Tarble appearnce would be a nice homage to "Son Goku and Friends". Perhaps showing him cooking in Vegeta's house, while Bulma and his wife are chatting outside on the pat·i·o, would be a nice scene to have in the movie.
Re: Mystery Jump Countdown: New DB Movie Confirmed!
Yeah, I had part of my idea typed up so that when the spell is cast they also lose their memories of ever knowing each other and in order to regain their memories they each have to visit a place of significance to themselves (Piccolo - The area where he sacrificed his life for Gohan as an example). And with this remembrance we also see a clip what they are remembering.soulnova wrote:Gonstead wrote:Or into kids.Z-Dragon wrote:How about the new villian who casts the spell on Z-Fighters that splits them into their good and evil counterparts, then Z-Fighters fight their own dark selves? By breaking the memory spell, it's up to them to try to regain their memories again with them all attempting to visit places which may have been important to them until it comes down to the very last person: Goku.
They try everywhere possible where he might remember until Bulma suggests Grandpa Gohan's house where he first met Goku. This works as we see a little clip of the episode mentioned.
Film goes on, yadda yadda, heroes regain their adult bodies and defeat villain with one huge Ki beam comprised of everyone's strongest attacks to symbolize that though they may have their own issues with certain people in their group, they know that they can reply on each other in times of need.
BTW where would some places be of significance to the Z-Warriors? I have a few typed below but I'm open for suggestions
Goku - Where he first met Bulma and learns about the Dragon Balls
Piccolo - The area where he sacrificed his life for Gohan
Vegeta - Area where he self destructed against Majin Buu
Gohan - Area of 'Cell Games' arena
Krillin - Kame House perhaps?
