Favorite Songs (entire series)?

I just made this topic to get your guys views on your favorite songs in the anime. I first started getting into the Japanese version when I heard the music of Dragonball Gt(Dan Dan) and since then these have been my favorite songs:

1. Dan Dan
2. Don't you see
3. Hitori Janai
4. We gotta power
5. Angel
6. Tapions theme(if that even counts)
7. Bojack movie(ending theme)
8. Onmei No Hi(Gohans SSJ2 Transform theme)

Those songs are not listed from greatest to least favorite. Please tell me what some of your favorite songs are.

DB's opening theme.
Cha-La Head Cha-La
WE GOTTA POWER
We were angels
SSj 2 Gohan transformation song
The song from movie 1 where Gohan gets drunk off the apple.

I know, it's sad that I don't know the names to a lot of these songs... meh.

My favourites would be...

Ore wa Tokoton Tomaranai!! (I Won't Stop 'Till the End!!) (Guitar instrumental)
CHA LA HEAD CHA LA
Kiseki no Biggu Faito (The Miraculous Big Fight) (Movie 10)
DAN DAN Kokoro Hikarete ’ku
WE GOTTA POWER
Ending Theme to movie 7 (Can't remember the name)
Detekoi Tobikiri ZENKAI Pawâ!

I'm particularly fond of the Budokai 2 & 3 music, that features Steve Lukather. The theme for the plains stage in Budokai 3 features some awesome guitar work and a great drum solo from Simon Phillips (From Toto).

I also like the rock songs played on the Funi dub of Cooler's Revenge. I have them all on mp3.

1, 2 and 3 are pretty much on equal footing, but ranked them anyway for the sake of a list. And We Gotta Power would be at 10 if DB wasn't considered.

I consider mostly the melody, specific image triggers (of parts of the anime) and overall impression, rather than mostly lyrics like many people do.

Oh and this is coming from a fan of alternative rock, Cantonese and Mandarin pop, and Japanese rock. So it would I mean that a catchy rhythm, an upbeat melody and significant loudness would often get my attention.

Did you guys notice how there is pretty much always Dan Dan or Don't you see on those lists? I think its safe to assume that those songs are loved by most Dragonball Fans.

I have a huge favorite list of songs, several finding their way into my burned CD's and what not.

My first up favorite song would be Saikyo Wa No Fusion. The song is kinda a bit jazzy at first, but then goes into a great vocal bit, then awesome guitars as well. Plus, who wouldn't love it after seeing Movie 12?!

My other would be Ore Ga Yarankya Dare Ga Yaru(If I can't do it, who will?!). I mean, it's a kickass song, with a great rock BGM. And the lyrics are well done as well. This is probably one of the best songs in the Dragon Ball Z movie song continium.

My next two favorite would easily be Makafushigi Adventure and Mezase Tenkaichi. Makafushigi Adventure is a bit more of a pop song then the other opening themes of Z and GT. But it's more of a preppy kind, and addicting too. I can continously listen to the "Let's try try try makafushigi" part over and over. And Mezase Tenkaichi is more of a rock song as well, with awesome lyrics! And don't forget about the Dragon Ball Legend (Dunno it's Japanese name)

Then of course, Tenkaichi Gohan ^_^ . It's flat out hilarious.

There's also the new themes to talk about. Light a Fire in Your Smoldering Heart and I Won't Stop Until The End!!!. Those songs are wonderfully orchestrated, Hironobu Kageyama's back, and best of all, it's for two awesome video games!!

The opening themes are somewhat not my truly favourite, though I do like them. DAN DAN Kokoro Hikerate 'ku was ironically my introduction to Japanese music and the Dragon Ball openings. I love the original by FIELD OF VIEW as well as the one done by Zard. I do love CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA 2005 way more than the original....but I will always have a special place in my heart for We Gotta Power and We Were Angels.
