I'm not sure if this warrants a thread, but I just thought this was interesting.
In Movie 8, when Kuririn is singing Karaoke at the beginning (JP Version), the song he is singing is "Tsubasa wo Kudasai (Please Give Me Wings)." It's a song by Akai Tori that (Correct me if I'm wrong) is pretty popular in Japan, but a lot of you might recognize it as the song that plays at the end of
Rebuild of Evangelion 2.0.

For the life of me, I can't find a JP clip of the Karaoke scene, but it's there.
That's about it, just thought it was interesting.

When I was watching 2.0 in the theater I was sitting there, not watching that scene for a bit as I picked my brain trying to figure out where I knew that song from. Then a second or so later I was hitting a friend beside me. "Hey, that's Kuririn's karaoke song!"
Damn good movie. Movie 8 and 2.0, of course.
