A tale of Budokai 3

Today, for the first time i ever, i got to play Dragonball Z Budokai 3 and oh my god. It looks the same, but it is SO much different from Budokai 2 it's unreal!
My mate who i was playing it with has had it ages and was a pro at it, but i thought "He can't be that hard, i'll just use some cancel combo's on him, he won't know what hit him" but hell no! Before i could he was dodging my attacks left and right and warping behind me and smacking me around, i didn't have a chance! I must of played him about 50 matches, most of them was Kid Goku (Me) VS Kid Buu (Him) and he beat me everytime, but even though i was getting my arse kicked i was having so much fun!
After a while, i learned to dodge attacks, learnt to teleport and learned hyper mode. I couldn't warp as well as he could, but it was a start. When i started getting better, i decided to play Vegeta, as i learned the reason he could always beat me in warping, was because Kid Buu had much more Ki then Kid Goku. So i choose Vegeta, and charged up to Super Saiyan 4 and was starting to give him good fights, though still losing.
It was time for me to leave, so we was playing our last match. It was the most evenly fought match so far, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta VS Kid Buu, warping around beating eachother down. We was both down to green and i went into Hyper Mode and got the Big Bang started on him. The look on his face, i won the button pressing thing and Vegeta started to fire his Big Bang. My friend looked at me and said "Oh my god... well done, you've beat me." I was all excited watching the big explosion on screen and hoping i had won, but when the smoke cleared he still had health, on orange.
I said "Oh no!" and he said "Yes!" and we began fighting again, he started pumpeling me like he was serious and he fired a Kamehameha at me, i countered with a Final Shine, which wasn't fast enough to have a beam struggle with his Kamehameha, but was fast enough to blast THROUGH it and through him, landing me a victory!
Man that was SUCH A RUSH! So intense! I finaly won! It was like the series, finnaly over coming the enemy to be victorious! I yelled out "YES! HAHA!" and he was speachless, after about 50 battles i finaly pulled through.

Budokai 3 is fucking awesome. Tell your stories and stuff. =P Man i love that game...

The Dragon Ball games that I played prior to Budokai 3 were the three Butoden games, Final Bout, Shin Butoden, Legends and the original Budokai. MAN! The first time I played the original Budokai, I thought that it was the best DBZ game ever made and thought it wouldn't get any better. Boy was I wrong! The first time I loaded up Budokai 3, I went straight to Dragon Universe mode without reading any instructions because I thought it won't much of a difference because it was a Budokai game, I was wrong again. Imagine yourself playing this game without knowing the teleport counter, dragon rush, and hyper mode. I was getting my butt whipped so much that I couldn't go on without reading the instructions. At the first parts of Dragon Universe, I beat up my opponents with continuous square+square+square+square+circle combination for Goku, the same thing I did back in the first game. But as I get further, everything doesn't make sense anymore. When witnessing Vegeta going into hyper mode for the first time, I got confused and thought "When did Vegeta freakin' learned Kaioken???!".

Another funny Budokai 3 story is about the time when I first checked out the movelist in the pause menu. I felt really stupid when I discovered that you can actually use a shortcut for death moves. About time too because I was about to finish the Namek part of Dragon Universe.
