How strong would Goku have been with out earth's training?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

If Goku ends up killing Pilaf then there will be no Piccolo. If they stop Goku then I guess Roshi, Kuririn and Yamucha would have taken of them most likely. They would still be screw against Radditz unless they can try to pull off the Ma Fu Ba (evil containment wave) on him. If Nappa and Vegeta don't find out about the Dragon Balls then they won't go to Earth and both #17 and #18 are likely not exist if there is no Goku.

That all sounds pretty accurate, though I do wonder if the Ma Fu Ba would work in a battle against Raditz? Also it'd be interesting to see who and how powerful #17 and #18 would be with out Gero having Goku as a basis, or whether that many androids would even be created.

Yeah, I don't think the Mafuba would work on Raditz. Isn't it specifically designed for Demons/evil things? So the only villains in DB/Z it would work for would be King Piccolo and his kids, Dabura, and Majin Buu.

Probably the Shadow Dragons in GT, too...?

I think #17 and #18 would only exist if Gero somehow does not get killed and could likely build them to get revenge on Roshi, Kuririn and Yamucha for taking out the Red Ribbon Army. I don't think Cell would exist since there won't be much DNA for him, #17 and #18 would likely be much weaker but still be possibly strong enough to kill them.
