Hell's Gate is Super Janemba's mouth energy wave technique: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Hell_Gate
Rasetsu's Claw is the Dimension Sword Attack: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Dimens ... rd#Gallery
Also, the technique's name can't be translated as Nirrti Nail, Rasetsu is the Japanese for Rakshasa, not Nirṛti

Since when is Dragon Ball Wiki ever reliable? I'll wait until I see some videos.JeffJarrett wrote:Hell's Gate is Super Janemba's mouth energy wave technique: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Hell_Gate

Nirrti still sounds really awesome, whatever it means.JeffJarrett wrote:Also, the technique's name can't be translated as Nirrti Nail, Rasetsu is the Japanese for Rakshasa, not Nirṛti
Edit: Got it, it's a Buddhist thing: Rakshasa

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
The name is on their screenshots. It's more reliable than your speculations based on nothing.
Rasetsu's Claw (羅刹爪, Rasetsu Tsume):

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Okay fair enough but I wouldn't call it based on nothing since in my opinion would make more sense calling shrapnel nails then a sword. And I'm sorry, I'm just basing my assumptions on the fact that Dragon Ball Wiki likes to come up with facts based on nothing. They are well known for that.JeffJarrett wrote:The name is on their screenshots. It's more reliable than your specualtions based on nothing.

Edit: This might be old news but I've never seen it mentioned here. I just noticed that in the card viewer, when you have a card which enables team attacks, the descriptions say what I assume to be the name of the character and the "state" they are in. I've notice that Piccolo's changes, so maybe Dragon Ball Wikia is not as full of shit as I thought they were when they claim that Piccolo's fusions and Kuririn's and Gohan's power ups are in the game.
Someone care to translate what they say so we can have a clearer idea of what they call states the characters are in? From what I gathered, everyone has a "state" even if it is what I suppose "base".
Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
It's not "Rasetsu Tsume," it's "Rasetsu Sou," and a "Rasetsu" refers to evil fiends from Buddhism. Basically, demons.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
It's already been done since back around the original Set 4 or so. Piccolo's fusions with Nail and Kami are in the game, but Gohan and Kuririn's power up are not.DNA wrote:Edit: This might be old news but I've never seen it mentioned here. Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Don't recall any of that. What are they called? Just "fused with", or something else? I realized that there's "Android 13 coalescence" which is a really weird way of saying "union" or my personal favourite, "combined".TheDevilsCorpse wrote:It's already been done since back around the original Set 4 or so. I'm also wondering what they call "Majin" Vegeta ("Prince of Destruction" I think?)and the beefed up Super Saiyan forms for Trunks and Vegeta, well and buffed up Cell.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Fused with Nail
Combined with Kami
Prince of Destruction
Power Stressed
Super 13 isn't a transformation of 13 in the game, so he just says "Normal" like all untransformed characters. The name of the card itself has added "gattai", like Abo and Kado's "technique", so "merged", "union" or "combined" all work.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Oh, cool!
Can I bug you for Freeza's and Cell's forms? Are Buu's just called "someone" absorbed?
Edit: Actually, is Gohan called "Ultimate" or "Mightiest"? And Broli, is he called "Normal/Base", Super Saiyan" or "Restricted Super Saiyan"?
Yeah I know he's not, but that's he's actual name "Android No.13 Combined".TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Super 13 isn't a transformation of 13 in the game, so he just says "Normal" like all untransformed characters.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
As far as I remeber:
Freeza - 1st Form, 2nd Form, 3rd Form, Final Form, Full Power
Cell - Initial Form, No. 17 Absorbed, Perfect Body, Perfect Body: Power Stressed, Super Perfect Body
Buu - Buu doesn't have any of the team things for his absorptions, so I don't know. Even on the front of the card, they don't list the names like they do for transformations. On the site and card back we just get "Absorption" and in another box, "Partner: X".
Gohan - "Potential Released" or something like that.
Broli - Super Saiyan, Legendary Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan 3
Freeza - 1st Form, 2nd Form, 3rd Form, Final Form, Full Power
Cell - Initial Form, No. 17 Absorbed, Perfect Body, Perfect Body: Power Stressed, Super Perfect Body

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Dude thanks a lot for clarifying all that for me, it's really interesting to see how they chose to call all these different forms. I like these better than their "Americanized" counterparts like "Imperfect Cell" and "Semi-Perfect" amongst others. Allow me to bother you with one last one that I forgot, Fat Gotenks. Is he called Fat, Failed or what?

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
As long as the meaning behind the term isn't changed, I usually prefer the US versions because they stick with a better represented theme IMO. Just personal preference though.
Anyway, he's labeled as "mistake". Which brings about an inconsistency that annoys the hell out of me; because the fat Gotenks is named "Gotenks-Mistake", but fat Gogeta is labeled as "Veku-Normal" even though Veku was only South Kaio's nickname for him while the fatty refers to himself as Gogeta while fighting Janenba. -_-

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
That is true, it's quite silly the way they chose to do that. Not only that but Gotenks: Mistake is under Gotenks but Veku is his own separate character.

Yeah since I would like to see what type of design that they would do for a Ultimate Perfect Cell form.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:God, I want to see this.Hellspawn28 wrote:I wonder once they do cards for the Super 17 saga then maybe they can a form of Cell after absorbing Super 17. Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Not sure if anyone ever posted this, but a direct picture of Janenba-Baby's card is on the Carddas site. It's not particularly big, but it's nice to have over pictures.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
And that they are from two different universes (I guess that would be a right term?) since hell in GT is much different then Hell in the DBZ anime. GT is not even apart of the movies or the anime. The only thing that I like about Heroes is that they don't care what type of crazy stuff that they will throw in.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:...I have no fucking idea... Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
No, that's not really relevant to my comment since I was talking specifically about my fan project. Saiga knows that it includes all the main characters from most of the franchise's content in a single, rewritten timeline, and that if I can keep a movie/special/whatever in its general time frame with just some minor tweaking, that's where it all typically remains placed. So, as I said, the only real issue was the ~20 years between their two appearances...Hellspawn28 wrote:And that they are from two different universes (I guess that would be a right term?) since hell in GT is much different then Hell in the DBZ anime. Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
The part of Hell shown in DBZ is specifically stated to be Area 1, Sector 3. Hell shown in GT looks different because it's not that Area/Sector.Hellspawn28 wrote:And that they are from two different universes (I guess that would be a right term?) since hell in GT is much different then Hell in the DBZ anime. Janemba is probably held captive somewhere in Hell, and Baby was probably sent to Hell after being killed by Goku. The two could have met there.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
I still hope that we get a animated video of Bebi Janemba soon. I would imagine that seeing him in animated will look awesome. The Bebi Janemba card, To Boldly Flee and the new Godzilla film getting an release date made my week. It can't get any better

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
I wonder how the animated trailers will be affected now that Yamamuro is working on the movie. While less than of minute of animation probably wouldn't be hard to supervise at the same time, I have to wonder if he wouldn't pawn the work off to another. Then again, his most trusted fellows might be busy working on the movie with him.
